Kinsella Gas - Tanks!
Shares in Lucy Warman's CHRC Franchise, a once lucrative "sure thing", plunged yesterday with the announcement of private members bill M-446, creating havoc for principal stakeholder Kinsella Gas. Stock in both firms cratered when word of the bill hit the street and they have continued to crash and burn today with the market taking a sharp turn to the right.
In an effort to reassure himself Kinsella Gas spokesman Warren K expelled the corporate position regarding M-446:
"The aim of M-446, introduced by Liberal MP Keith Martin, is to gut the CHRC, specifically Subsection 13(1) which is key to the viabilty of our franchise"
A later announcement from Lucy Warman's CHRC Inc. appeared to contradict this statement indicating that it was released by "an inexperienced staffer" and went on to express hope that the Lucy Warman Franchise would retain the backing of progressive investors by appealing to their faith in the perceived value of the company's intangible assets, despite the markets rapid devaluation of the firms intellectual property.
The spokesman stated : "Regulatory backing or no, Lucy Warman CHRC Inc. will remain solvent so long as our primary resource - The Pretend Threat posed by Pretend Nazis - exists, in our minds and in the minds of our backers."
No one is taking Warren K's word for it and Kinsella Gas appears to be in panic mode; efforts at damage control having failed, they have in turn issued a plea to angel investors Dion, Ignatieff and Rae which so far has fallen on deaf ears. Currently mired in their own market unpopularity, the trio refused requests for an interview.
Rumours of irregularities, including charges of anti-competitive behavior, bid-rigging and other questionable practices have plagued Lucy Warman CHRC Inc. for some time now, with no end in sight. Scared junior partners such as MJ Murphy continue to speculate that a conspiracy to drive investors away from Lucy Warman CHRC Inc may lie at the bottom of the firms current woes.
Market Insider George Lincoln Rockwell sums up the mood of investors and analysts alike:
"This is what happens when government gets involved and attempts to not only regulate but in fact create an unnatural market. This whole industry was based on a false economy. A lot of people were fooled and somebody has to pay. Kinsella Gas and Lucy Warman are nothing but a Ponzi scheme."

At one time Lucy Warman CHRC Inc. made a good Income Trust investment vehicle. Kinsella Gas should have diversified their portfolio a long time ago. It looks like KinGas is trying now to hedge it's long term bets across the three liberal party leaders, Dion, Rae and Iggy.
My market call: Sell. The upcoming audit will show these stocks are worth about as much as Bre-X.
