This is certainly a weakness and so strikingly self evident it sends chills into you someone would think otherwise.
We have assumed this(to our societal detriment) about transnational socialism and it got us every contentious public policy which Balkanizes our society today.
Believing the same thing about fundamentalist Islam will be a massive mistake.
Perhaps this is why the anti-west dogmatic left and radical Islam get along...they both want the deconstruction of western society...but the Islamists want to replace it with Sharia where the far left have some utopian secular statist vision.
Never assume your antagonist OR ally of convenience wants the same as you...never!
Sometimes I wonder if the simple reflex of self-preservation has been sucked out of the average westerner by years of decadent nanny state coddling.
You are absolutely right, the crazed left along with the crazed muslims see all through a prism of irrational hate - for Western Society in general but especially for America.
We have grown soft and lazy and brainwashed by successive socialist governments.
Look at Eurabia, it surrended it's people and its culture without firing a shot in self defense. The socialist elites believe they can co-exist with Political Islamists, the plucking fools have no idea how evil the Islamists are but they need only to look at the Horn of Africa. Arabs committing genocide against Black Africans and the world yawns. The left blame America for all that ails the globe as do the Muslims. One wants no seperation of church and state the left believe in no seperation of state and it's people. Both goals are attainable if the right continues to remain silent.
I don't care how many times the leftards call me a racist bigot hater, I shall not surrender to Islam and the caliphate without screaming bloody murder. The Islamists want to Islamify the west and they aren't in a hurry, the left want control for eternity. Neither must be allowed to attain their goals, a socialist Islamic Utopia isn't going to work because Islam commands and demands superiority over all non-Muslims but the leftards just don't seem to grasp that little nugget.
