"I have pride and respect for the work that's done by commission members," she said, and she expects that it always "adheres to the principles of natural justice."
Lord love a duck, the woman has lost her mind, I mean where do you begin to fisk this?
"I'm a free speecher. I'm also a human rightser," said Jennifer Lynch, chief commissioner of the CHRC. "We have a responsibility to lead the debate on how we can keep our policy up to date to effectively regulate hate on the Internet."
Does this woman actually believe this is possible? Given their ever broadening definition of what constitutes 'hate', how pray tell, does she plan to regulate it? Short of limiting access of all Canadian connections to disney.com (and, even some of that content might be suspect), what exactly does she propose to do? Issue licenses?
I'm beginning to wonder if any of these folks, well besides Jadewarr and Lucy are at all familiar with the internet.
"...to effectively regulate hate on the internet" she says? Who suggested that was her mission in life. Not just Canada but perhaps worldwide?
Dah...like maybe not contributing to it with "Jadewar" and "Lucy" along with possible other accomplices.
I would have thought that an investigation related to corruption and wrong doing would have been a more effective strategy - one that was not so painfully obvious as more "smoke and mirrors"

Really the woamn is painfully out of touch almost laughably so if the stakes were not so high.
This woman is an ethically hollow vessel. In light of the facts and realities of HRC abuses and the subsequent investigations of same by authorities, what ever apologia which comes out of her mouth should be regarded as toxic waste.
