The only kind of lawyer you can get for that salary range is someone who just barely scraped through the bar exam and has the intellectual capacity of a turnip. Someone unemployable in private practice.

lol - they failed to put that in the Statement of Qualifications but if you look at the lawyers from Eddie Taylor who was fired to "Lucy" then "Mr. Serenity" - it does appear that they have a high turnover.
Perhaps the emotional fallout from their failed political aspirations got in the way?
No French language requirement for a taxpayer-financed job? That's got to be a first.

ROFL! I would also add: "Knowledge of law preferable, but will indoctrinate."
Hearing about "serenity now!" vigna reminded me of a few people i encountered as I become a practitioner of The Dark Arts. When there was a challenge they'd wuss out, but they'd justify it by making their anxiety "special". For example, one man refused to write the bar admission exams because he had "child care responsibilities", and the LSUC didn't provide alternative exam times.
(I knew a single mother in a wheelchair who didn't find it a problem.)
I always wondered where those slackers ended up and now I know.
I was going to suggest that everyone submit a fake application (make sure to pull a Jadewarre so it can't be proven it was you (unless you admit it under oath)) and maximally disrupt them, but the competition closes tonight, which gives little time to get things together. No doubt they have candidates in mind already. Typical.
