The Necroenfranchised

Yikes! an astute reader points out that Acorn has established a beachhead on the Danforth in Toronto - Jack Laytons riding no less...

ACORN- Don't miss a thing; enter your email address to stay up to date with ACORN Canada's work organizing Canada's low income communities for social justice!

I see dead people- voting NDP;)

H/T The Beast and Eddie the Dead Voter

Update from a reader:

ACORN is also active in the Lower Mainland of BC, particularly in New Westminster, where they have an office and have organized meetings around the issue of homelessness and housing.

But there are TWO different Acorns.

One is a Christian-based organization.

Are you aware of the acorn offices in Toronto Danforth?

No are they really there?

There were Obama supporters canvassing ex-pats/tourists in front of St. Lawrence Market two weekends ago. Now wondering if they were from ACORN.

Layton's riding, eh?

Rebember:

1. Obama TRAINED ACORN staff in Chicago, reportedly on 'radical behaviour'

2. Obama was the lawyer SPECIFICALLY requested by ACORN to represent them (the case is the root cause of the current mortgage meltdown in the US)

3. Obama channeled millions to ACORN

4. ACORN is one of the major fundraisers for Obama

5. - and this is the kicker - Layton thinks himself the Canadian equivalent of Obama, even boasting that they synchronized their ads (and, truth be told, there was at least one ad they BOTH ran that retold the same incident, in the same words, just changing the location...)

Sad? Yes.

Surprising? No.

You have ACORN in Canada too?!! Eek.

Maybe ACORN wants Canadians to vote in the US election? After all, they've supported every other "disenfranchised" group's right to vote (for Obama), so why not foreigners too?

In Quebec the dead vote BQ.

I wondered why this election was so close to holloween. I wonder if there is a correspondence between low living voter turn out and the dead providing the swing vote in Quebec GTA and Newfie.

Scary,

But then again, it could be amusing if ACORN decided to keep a critical eye on Jack, you know to see if he is socialist enough. Wasn't there some scandal about the happy couple living in subsidized housing for the longest time? Is that good or bad in ACORN-think...

My sister lives in the riding; a neighbor is telling a story of going to a Layton rally and a few blocks away s/he sees an SUV pull up; Jack gets out with a bike and proceeds to the rally.

Oh that is rich Trupeers, too bad she didn't get it on tape.

Your sister and my Mom are practically neighbors then, she is in Jacks riding as well.

Yikes! When the hell did ACORN come to Canada?

I've been reading stories about that organization for weeks, and I can't comprehend how they're being allowed to do the things they're doing - registering dead people, fictional creatures, multiple registrations for the same people...

How is that legal?

Incognito said...

Mariposa, it isn't.. but other than investigating not much is going to be done other than fire the individuals who filled in those forms.

Acorn. An appropriate name, considering they're nuts.

In the last couple of federal and provincial elections there was a man with his own labtop convincing the elections officials that he had a program that would help them and wanted to gain access to the elections computers...In the first case, the report I wrote to elections canada resulted in the returning officer being fired...but this same guy turned up again at another federal by-election and again at a provincial election...
Those lists sell on the streets for anywhere from 10 to 20 per name with phone address pcode, date of birth...and in cases of dead//deceased...likely worth more...
It never dawned on me that these lists could be used by groups like the squirrel collectors. I was just thinking identity theft.
I removed my name permanently until the elections canada and ontario get a system together where they have more accountability and better training and select from a better quality of people, which will be never...so in the meantime these lists are available to anyone who can sweettalk the stunned people running the election offices..

ACORN ( the vote rigging end of radical socialism) seems to dig in and establish a beachfornt in any jurisdiction where unionism has been radicalized by neo-marxist organizers.

Canada should be fertile territory for them with the public sector unionists colluding with the left of center governments of most provinces ( notably BC and Ont)

ACORN is a natural extension of aggressive socialist political pandering where the public sector, unionism and leftist political parties/orgs all collude to monopolize and concentrate administrative, political power and public wealth in a few leftist NGOs and parties through the manipulation of the democratic process.

There heeeeeeeeere. Got an e- mail from a buddy who works with Pac's in the US. Acorn has been busy here. She writes here:

I know this because ACORN was thoroughly involved in the Quebec "experience" of housing all the muslims your government allowed into your country in the name of "inclusiveness".

Hate to throw this at ya, but were I you, I'd push for secession!

For those who are interested in how organizations such as Acorn and other radical left wing groups operate read this.

Its a bit of a read but is quite worrying.
