A fine speech, A for all the right talking points, B + for Brevity, C- for Cause. I wish the PM had been forced to make this appearance as a result of being bushwacked by the Tre Duce and not for his preemptive strike.

I don't know where else to post this but I am so fed up. I try to visit the message boards like Globe and Mail and CBC and I post occasionally just to keep the dialogue semi-balanced. Recently at CBC I see articles (invariably against Mr. Harper) which appear with messages already part of the board. Such messages already have over a hundred (or more) recommends in favor. How can this be when the article has not been up for even 2 minutes? Then it takes forever for the other responses to appear while Mr. Busyfingers on the "delete cookies" button, or some CBC twit keeps inflating these numbers. I complete resent this. Also numerous posts of mine--quite well-reasoned and containing no objectionable words or comments--somehow go astray. I'm wondering if this might be worth mentioning to the Ombudsman.
I just needed to vent.

marcus, I thought it (Harper's speech) was well done too. It was a statesmanlike address, explaining what is being done and will be done to ensure the best interests of Canadians.
After he prorogues this session Canadians will hear the truth about this three headed socialist monster we face.

Back to the beginning of our once great nation. Governments have no business using little people's tax money to toss by the ton at failed business models such as the big 3 auto industry and sunset industries such as lumber, pulp and paper.
Lumber may come back in better times, but pulp is now fiction we have digital zeros and ones.
Business comes and goes. The well run and viable will prosper and the others NEED to fail so that there is more room for upstart winners to take over the job of enriching our country and providing real jobs.
