Frightening indeed.

You can only bend over backwards just so many times before you fracture your spine. I suppose this is as true for societies as it is for individuals.

Not to labour the point, but one of the foundational defenses of establishing a "public" education system in the late-nineteenth century was the inculcation of a common civic engagement -- a common sense of citizenship.

I'm a little bit heartened to see that some parents are beginning to challenge this nonsense in New Brunswick.

He is/was a Green Party candidate and did and said some pretty disgusting things. Now who else has been a Green Party candidate???

It must have something to do with the bottled frizzy water???

It does show the degradation of our education system that 1 guy has the power to even do this = disgusting. Will any human rights commission ever defend Canada and it's service people?

Where is Lucy, the Lying Jackel or even BCL, TiDye and Dawg on this?

This story is not about 2 imaginary parents complaints...

It is about a political activist (and multiple-times rejected political candidate) who happens to be a principal of a school - and who stopped playing the anthem as a protest against our troops being in Afghanistan.

We need better vetting process for our teachers and school principals, that's all...

Normally I keep my mom up to date on all things Canada -- she was born and raised in Nova Scotia, but her sister, my Aunt Mary Anne, settled in Sackville, NB -- and I count on you, BCF, and the Covenant Zone guys, Walker and so many others for being able to fill her in! ... but in this case, I think I'll save her the heartache. She flipped out enough as it was over the Macleans business.

This guy is backed by someone to do this. Its a political ploy. Just as the Gays used carefully crafted incidents in court. To change our laws. These folks want only half a billion people living. What happens to the other 7 billion? They think parents are obsolete. They worship death as a release. The handicapped & innocent with red fangs are seen as "Useless eaters". Full abortion, even infanticide. Freely practiced. Absolute censorship. Suicide encouraged as well “Mercy Killing“. No personnel transport or property rights. No free speech. These folks reek of the grave & charnel house. The decadence of an entitled class with a power fetish. A Global movement with Faustain purpose. To redo our entire civiliztion in their image.
