Woman gives up quest for answers to alleged Internet hijacking
Hmmm this casts an interesting light on the proceedings.
Nelly Hechme said she had encountered "too many roadblocks" in trying to get answers about the apparent hijacking of her wireless connection.
The more I read this stuff, the more I have to agree that the only way we are going to get anything close to a complete rendering is through a judicial committee of inquiry with a broad investigative scope and the power of subpoena.
Don't hold your breath.
Meanwhile, I fully sympathize with Nelly Hechme. What a nightmare.

This is the typical way any polity tries to bury something so deep even hell can‘t reach it. First a bogus meeting or investigation. A token speech about misunderstanding . Than bingo! All problems solved. If the personage persists, than use intimidation or by subtext infer that she will be hurt, not her persecutors. The Police will do nothing as in Caledonia, The Toronto, & Calgary Jew hate in. Indeed they protect the abuser. If not subtly enabling them. . That any action by her will be de-legitimized. The victim has been thrown under the bus twice.

Was Hechme's wireless connection actually hacked? Is hacked the right word to be using? I'm confused about whether her account was hacked or if she simply didn't password protect it.
I see your point Matty, I suppose in a sense it was - albeit she did leave it unprotected. I live in a densley populated urban centre - a lot of people are unaware that the wireless on their router is turned on by default and have no idea how vulnerable that can make them.
My issue with the hacking is that on the surface I have never really seen a valid reason for why they would have chosen to do so - however in light of the testimony revelelations that have exposed the much more serious allegations of evidence tampering and false testimony maybe they genuinely did wish to cover their tracks.
