B.C. man who filed human rights complaint after reading Koran has case dismissed

Update: Mark Steyn - Which side of the war would you like to be on?

I loved this. Maybe we should be bombarding all 14 HRC's with similar complaints.

The Koran isn't just LIKELY to expose Jews and Christians to hatred and contempt - it demands it.

Heck maybe thats why the refused to prosecute the complaint - The HRC types agree with the Koran.

When I read the Koran I threw the book against the wall outraged when I read the Sura where Allah talks about him holding a little boy on his lap and the bliss he felt when he stuck his tongue down said child's throat-my translation only. I thought it was the sequal to "Flowers in the Attic". I was a member of an international book club and we didn't know the name of said book until we finished the book. To this day I wish I hadn't read the book. I'd be better off if I had not read what he did to children in the name of his god.

Simpson's case wouldn't further the purposes of the Human Rights Code?

I don't understand what Humphreys is saying.

Is she also saying that he didn't articulate exactly why he was offended and hurt, ie negative impact?

Oh great, that's a pretty objective mark for the commision to gauge.

Another display of the discrimination and contempt HRCs have for majority identity groups.

This case wasn't dismissed on merit of lack of provable damages ( something that never stopped HRT defense of intangible danage before) ...this was done as a matter of the identity group of the complainant. Majority groups are discriminated against in HRC ideology. It's fairly obvious.

It's only discrimination if they say it is, yea thats the ticket.

This book calls for all kinds of murder and mayhem against "infidels"; recent history is awash in incidents where its adherents have carried out such murder and mayhem, yet this is not actionable under the "Human Rights Code".

But a Christian pastor's letter to the Red Deer Advocate is actionable?

Some clever folks have obviously constructed a branch of logic that Aristotle would not have understood.
