Everyone a criminal: HRCs have poisoned politics..making Bill 44 a case of turnabout being fair play
Bill 44 is a response to a B. C. Human Rights Tribunal decision mandating two gay activists to commandeer the Ministry of Education in that province to impose a "social justice" course into the curriculum. Parents' rights, never mind those of local school boards, were overridden.
The B. C. example and Alberta's Bill 44 indicate how HRCs have poisoned politics in those two provinces.
Wow read the rest. Suddenly Bill 44 looks a whole lot better cast in this light.

I'm not a big fan of Alberta's Bill 44. I don't mind that parents are able to exclude their children from certain instruction, but it creates a bit of mine field for teachers.
What happens if they forget to notify parents in advance? What happens when parents disagree with teachers over what comprizes sexuality and religion (e.g., the origins of life)?
If you look at it in a positive light Bill 44 highlights the madness.
My concern is that Bill 44 could, one day, extend to the failure to notify parents if evolution and natural selection are being taught in Biology class.
I can just imagine the content of the HRC hearing on that one!
I'm with BCF on this on. Nothing good ever came from evil except more of the same. You cannot reform tyranny of the State by the same Polity.
This is an Inquisition or Kangaroo court. My favorite is Soviet tribunal. Because after all this is a Leftist invention to run around a real legal system.
Fire them ALL.!!! As for education this is Just like Red Ed's last bill of switch & bait. He stopped us making health care payments but doubled blue cross with making surgeries elective. He knows we can home school. Have charter schools both in the system & out.
Private schools, plus Catholic.
Its window dressing while strengthening this court of fools & lefty ghouls. This is not for parents its a canard.
He has got to go. Its like watching my Province become another Zimbabwe with a Soviet Ukrainian.
