Truer words were never spoken. Senator Grafstein, as did civil liberties icon Alan Borovoy before him, has come to regret the dangerous turn that our alleged Human Rights Commissions have taken. Canada's thought crime law, Section 13 (1) has been abused by the Canadian Human Rights Commission - an agency staffed by illiberal elements who think themselves above the law. Others such as Bernie Farber have effectively reduced once venerable organizations like the Canadian Jewish Congress to "Useful Idiot" status by supporting the abusers and the anti-democratic Section 13 (1) provision itself.
