Well I'm shocked! Jennifer Lynch hates them nasty bloggers and journalists!
The following is taken from Jennifer Lynch's remarks to CASHRA on Monday, June 15, 2009 - CASHRA is the umbrella grievance monger association in Canada.
She has a long list of complaints against bloggers and journalists who she feels have unfairly pointed out that the CHRC is a criminally corrupt, radical left wing, rights abusing cesspool that's been hijacked by extremists. Let's have a look at Jenny's grievances.
The debate moved to one of discrediting Commissions’ processes, professionalism and staff. Much of what was written was inaccurate, unfair, and at times scary:

“Gestapo” - True - prosecuting Catholic Priests seems pretty "Gestapo" like to me Jen
“human rights racket” - True - instances too numerous to mention, but start here. By the way, have you asked Ezra for a signed copy of Shakedown Jen?
“welcome to the whacky world of Canadian human rights.” - Very true - refusing to prosecute a Muslim Imam for things you would "Lynch" anyone else for is pretty whacked Jenny
“...(i)t sounds like a fetish club for servants of the Crown” - True - It is official CHRC policy for their employees to join neo-Nazi groups, and go online in full neo-Nazi drag, spewing filthy venom that would make Joseph Goebbels proud.
“a secretive and decadent institution” - True - attempting to deny the public and press access to hearings is fine Jenny - In North Korea
In addition to this mounting discredit for our institution:
blogs worked to destroy our investigators and litigators’ reputations and credibility with untrue accusations; groundless complaints were lodged with the law societies; and
a Commission employee’s life was threatened.

What's scary Jenny is that it's all true. Especially the part about groundless complaints filed with the Law societies - Giacomo "Serenity" Vigna - a CHRC staff litigator has filed numerous baseless complaints against Ezra Levant, nearly a dozen or so as I understand it, so many in fact the Law Society told him to get a grip. Now as for the alleged threat, if true then that should be dealt with by the proper authorities - but shame on you Jennifer Lynch for implying a blogger or journalist made such a threat. Cheezus Jenny your staff at the CHRC as well as the CHRT have substituted evidence, tolerated misleading testimony under oath and abused due process, and even your agencies own procedures - repeatedly - in short your staff have no credibility or reputations worth upholding. You and your agency lack accountabilty and have rightfully earned the publics scorn.
As Mark Steyn wrote - Well, why's that? It's because you and your gang got used to operating in the dark, living out your silly little secret-agent fantasies as Internet sock puppets, attempting to keep the press and public out of your kangaroo courtrooms, refusing even to show your faces when defendants paid routine calls to your offices.
Jennifer Lynch you are not a very convincing liar, in fact you seem afflicted with the same debilitating memory loss that plagues your No. 1 client, enough with the bullshit already, and take a chill pill as Deb Gyapong suggests. Quit your whining, you've lost.

Update2: As for your staff's reputations Ms. Lynch I'm appalled to see them surfing the softcore porn I posted here. (Actually I'm not, I suspect they're a pretty uptight bunch, and after all they are among my most devoted readers, so don't be too hard on em)

When you can't win a debate, call them racist.
But this emoting isn't the speech of a senior civil *servant* in a self-ruling democracy; it's just bleating to a special-interest group that happens to live on the public dime, politicizing something - civil service/law - that should be non-partisan, disinterested (like real judges). Even if everything she says were true (which isn't the case) it would not be her job, if she were a senior civil servant, to say it. This is because a civil servant is supposed to suspend political interest when doing her job. I don't blame her for not debating Ezra; but this kind of speech is pathetic. If no one who can freely take the role of citizen will make her case like she wants, then that's just tough. She's lost. And how can a government official lose? because she's playing an interested game; resign and give us back the disinterested law.
I'd say this calls for bloggers and journalists like Levant, Steyn and BCF to take a big bow. Jennifer has her own warped view of "the truth" but at least it shows she's been listening.
p.s. and I know the "disinterested law" has been deconstructed by the left as the hegemonic lie of the white male elite. But if you really believe that - and it is to the thinking person, nonsense: human history is not a conspiracy of the strong - then at least have the decency to come out frankly and admit that "human rights" law is about screwing the white male elite in the name of the subaltern classes. Just have the nerve to say it and see how many Canadians want to sign off on your revolutionary nihilism.

This just in...the coward Jenny is refusing to appear at tomorrow's Parliamentary Committee Hearing on s, 13. So says Ezra.
Is the coward Lynch really this dumb? I don't believe it. Not for a second. I know that she has a manicure, pedicure and Brazillian which will pretty much take her all day. She doesn't want to be in contempt of Parliament but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Grooming is important.
(And anyone who says otherwise is a sexist pig who can expect a knock on their door when they least expect it.)

I like your blog quite a lot, and I read it everyday.
However, I have one friendly quibble: sometimes it's hard to determine where the link is to the story you're commenting about.
For example, where is the link for the story about Lynch whining about the HRC critics?
It's well and necessary to document just when and where the HRC has been acting like Gestapo, etc., but could you make the primary link more clear?

But as I said before, every report into problems especially mismanagement (see La Forest Report 2000) talks of problems that even now have not gone away with a change in senior management.
Go I guess, it a number of reports are negative, one writes their own and hopes no one notices but the timing of today's hearing couldn't be better.

Irony is in the air. According to its own staff, the Canadian Human Rights Commission is a hotbed of discrimination and unfairness. Morale is in the sewer. The men complain that the workplace is biased in favour of women, and vice versa.
People are leaving in droves.
Chief commissioner Michelle Falardeau-Ramsay isn't even on the scene. She's off in Indonesia at the moment, advising on abuses in East Timor.
One of the commission's senior lawyers says that Canada's premier rights body has lost its "moral authority" and needs a complete overhaul. (He was promptly suspended.)
Meantime, John Hucker, the bureaucrat who runs the place, says the problems have been overblown. He blames open-concept offices for some of the grumpiness."
