That men look at child porn boggles my mind. I mean, we're not even talking about just a handful of sickos. We're talking thousands.
But that a guy who actually oversaw investigations into clerical sexual misconduct and child abuse has this stuff on his computer... Okay, how stupid and venal is that?
As a once-again embarrassed and shocked Catholic, all I can say is, well, Polanski has been tried and found guilty. This guy hasn't been tried yet.
In related news, I see they've shut down that porno art exhibit in a major London museum, the one with the nude photo of Brooke Shields at 10.
All rape is horrid. All child porn is disgusting. All child abusers and those complicit in children's abuse should face justice.
No double standards.
