Mark Steyn and Ezra Levant speak on the evil of Section 13 (1) and the Corruption of the Canadian Human Rights Commission

Ezra notes Lynch has turtled yet again. Ezra (3-3:30 pm) & Mark Steyn (4-4:30 pm) will appear before the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights to testify against the corruption of the CHRC and its abuse of Section 13 (1). For once living in Ottawa has a benefit, you can attend the hearing in person.

You can watch it all here on Monday!

Sing Out! I got a testimony!

...
Hmm this is a toughie, which would you want to attend?

The Review of the Canadian Human Rights Act (Section 13), Or...

The Briefing on sodium consumption in the canadian diet?

Revnant Dream  – (6:37 PM)

Sending those two in is like letting setting nukes off politically. To say it will be interesting, is understated.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (7:01 PM)

Man I would love to be there;)

The Phantom  – (7:22 PM)

I wonder if Lynch will refuse to sit in the same room with Levant this time out?

He could probably finagle a human rights complaint out of it if she did. :)

Blazing Cat Fur  – (7:47 PM)

I'm hopin they at least run into each other in the elevator again.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (9:27 PM)

Think of what a scalped pair would fetch!

darcymeyers  – (10:31 PM)

Think this will be on CPAC? I'd love to see this...

Xanthippa  – (10:49 PM)

Any chance we could get a TV crew in there?

Perhaps 'The Agenda' or C-Span or SOMEONE!!!

How would we go about trying to make that happen?

Minicapt  – (11:09 PM)

I'd try the "Briefing on Sodium Consumption", bound to be some salty talk there.

Cheers

jaycurrie  – (1:12 AM)

I'd pay big money to see a panel discussion ;)

The question is whether the Members of the Committee are briefed well enough to leave a mark on the Coward Lynch. Ez and Mark should use their time to give the Committee chapter and verse. The lies, the aliases, the refusal to answer questions, Jadewarr, Goldberg, Mr. Vigna's loss of serentity, lawfare, SLAPP suits, MOAs with the cops....

Parliament needs to know. Officially. And, perhaps, with Parliamentary immunity, Sen. Cools might be discussed.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (3:24 AM)

Yes a dispassionate recital of the corruption followed by...Jenny scurrying for the exit.

glasnost  – (10:39 AM)

The question is whether the Members of the Committee are briefed well enough...

The last time they discussed this matter, remember the time Lynch sent her inept deputy David Langtry, the panel included Russ Hiebert who was certainly well briefed enough to cut Langtry into little pieces. I'm not sure how one can determine who will be sitting on Monday.

glasnost  – (10:46 AM)

Perhaps someone should watch the briefing on sodium in case they discuss rubbing salt into wounds.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (11:00 AM)

I hope CPAC covers it

noel  – (12:52 PM)

JL is likely to stretch her briefs full of the same crap that googles relentlessly in her mind.

Like the purple perfidiousness of perverted, shameless bishops, JL's treacherous treason is the poison that continues to kill society long after it is dead.

That truth will make us free has much to do with the content of our briefs. And, the nature of our Universe declares that it is blood, and blood alone, that can wash those briefs, to make them clean again.

The LS from SK  – (9:20 AM)

BCF - Ezra has posted a link to it Live. I suspect CPAC may have other priorities.

But Jenny refusing to attend, is pure self survival. She is used to only lecture, pontificate and sermonize - not listen and stay silent.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (9:27 AM)

Thats why she's turtlin.

The Phantom  – (9:51 AM)

So, Jenny refused to testify the same day as Ezra and Mark? That's amazing.

Some people really -don't- mature past high school do they? And they always seem to end up hiding in the bushes and back waters of large organizations.

It was my great misfortune to work at a hospital where all the department heads were women. It was exactly like being back in high school with the cliques, back biting and fake-nice behavior in meetings. They were slowly driving the place into bankruptcy as patients were increasingly catching c-diff and pseudomonas infections due to poor cleaning procedures and an anti-latex glove kick one of the freaky nursing managers was on.

Seems to me that's what's going on in Jenny baby's little empire there. High school. I hope she gets a f-ing ULCER worrying about getting caught before she gets caught and unceremoniously fired out on her ass.

Right after they finish bankrupting Lucy, if possible. The symmetry and justice of it all is just too perfect.

The LS from SK  – (10:18 AM)

Well Phantom - it is indeed an Opera. Actually more a Soap opera -kinda like the Sopranos? With a suporting cast of 7 neo-nazi extras as Ezra describes it!

A real life tragedy that Jenny continues to sing but I believe the political price for the PM to pay to FIRE her is just too high so he will just let her term expire.

Right now, She appears to be doing everything to Embarras him and the CPC who have NOT put out any signs or releases about support for her.

As regards to "Lucy" - his fall started even before Lustig and then Hadjis. The March 08 hearing was the start of a slippery slope -fall from grace?

Ezra's post "Denormalization" summed it up perfectly and I suspect tomorrow's hearing will be explosive in terms of further revelations as Ezra and Mark have been very quiet lately on this subject.

Given that he, himself is now before the "Roo Court" himself and other possible referrals to the RCMP - I cannot see his career at DND being terribly secure.

Were I in his shoes - I wouldn't sell that duct tape wrapped BIKE just yet.

The Phantom  – (10:37 AM)

LS, opera indeed. :)

What galls me the most I think is the assumption by these friggin' ex-cheerleading squad cubicle drones that it would be ok to create a honey pot by posing as racists. That -entrapment- by agent provocateurs would be a legitimate thing for government employees to do.

Its no different than the body shop owner who drums up business by going out at 2AM and hitting people's cars with a big hammer. But its a worse crime, because they're smashing up people's freedom and our whole society instead of just some cars.

This thing really pushes all my piss-off buttons, know what I mean?

glasnost  – (10:40 AM)

...the political price for the PM to pay to FIRE her is just too high so he will just let her term expire.

You're saying we'll have to wait until 2012?

The LS from SK  – (10:42 AM)

Your analogy is right on and how PSIC and DND allow this to continue is a complete mystery to me.

But Yes, I know what you mean and am slowly becoming a FS Activist.

Difference (from the Nuts and Berry crowd)is though I want to push others in front of the Bus so to speak :)

Where is the Fairness Fairy when we need him the most.

BCF - sprinkle some angel dust or something.

Revnant Dream  – (11:04 PM)

What a coward. To be expected I suppose.

The Phantom  – (10:16 AM)

LS, the DND is a bureaucratic organization just like the HRCs. They all play the same game by the same rules.

Lucy ain't going to get punted from DND unless and until some judge fills out the proper form declaring Lucy unfit for duty. Or the public opinion water gets too hot for some faceless poobah in DND, that's the other possibility. Making the water too hot is probably easier and certainly cheaper.

At this point in the game any normal Canadian is a "free speech activist". The HRCs have moved so far away from what is reasonable, its almost impossible to be anything else.

Making the continued silence from the CPC all the more galling, frankly. This is a no-brainer and should be a friggin' election issue. They should blast this issue wall-to-wall 24/7 on the news, in speeches, in TV and radio ads, they should make Iggy and Smilin' Jack wear it like a big ol' boat anchor.

Of course its possible I underestimate the stupidity of the average GTA voter.

RobertNichols  – (10:31 AM)

BCF or anyone else for that matter.

I just want to make sure I grasp this.

Marc Lemire is investigated for 6 yrs for something he didn't write.

He makes a constitution challenge, he wins. The CHRC ruling states that sec 13.1 is unconstitutional.

Now the CHRC wants a judicial review.

Is that like a do over?

Isn't this a good thing? Going to a real court?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (10:36 AM)

It's a do-over, a judicial review is a good thing - we hope;)

noel  – (1:35 AM)
