I went to the Toronto "Gaza Freedom March" and all I got was a Qassam Rocket

Update:  Nazis March For Gaza With Your Tax Dollars

Update: Part 2 Enter the Crazies , also Lumpy Grumpy & Frumpy has shots of the march.

Photo's of the Gaza Freedom March in downtown Toronto. A good time was had by all, the Pro-Israel contingent rivalled the turnout of the Hamassidim, a very good sign.

Free Qassams for the kids!

Familiar Faces

The irony deaf Ali Mallah-Tete( pictured below) threatened my friend J of Lumpy, Grumpy & Frumpy earlier this year. These Hamas lovers like to pick on girls. What cowardly heels.

Drat! I was running across the street & dodging traffic hoping for a better shot and failed to focus properly as this Hamasidick decided to give the Hitler Salute to the Pro-Israel side.

A friendly Hezbollah Supporter kindly unfurled his flag for a better shot.

Signs Signs Everywhere there's signs!

This is why you should always carry flammable liquids.

Oh yea, with Chavez in your corner, I give man.

Saggy sign,Saggy boycott

Some of the Good Guys

Good message, bad sign

David  – (5:17 PM)

these jokers with there arafat scarves make me sick.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (5:20 PM)

That's what I say, they wouldn't give me one, and I asked politely too!

shel  – (5:59 PM)

jeez, you guys in TO have all the fun.

in Edmonton, all we get is the odd guy in a skirt on Whyte Ave looking nervous, or old ladies at the Legislature demanding free money for stuff.

i wish i could get into a skirmish. :(

Blazing Cat Fur  – (6:20 PM)

It was a little dissapointing, the Hamasidites were almost out numbered.

jaycurrie  – (8:49 PM)

I kinda like the sign...good for you and Kathy showing up.

The lefty weenies are a great shot. And don't they just hate having their pictures taken by citizen journalists.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (9:30 PM)

Yup I was usually asked who I was with, I told them I was an innocent bystander, had to dance through the crowd to get Mallah, hoped I looked CSIS enough;)

truepeers  – (9:44 PM)

Looks like the guy had lots of signs but he was too reticent to show them to the outside world. good on ya mate.

Viking  – (9:45 PM)

I'd love to attend Vancouver's event on Friday. Where can I get an Israeli flag at short notice???

Blazing Cat Fur  – (9:54 PM)

Hmm good question Viking you might check with a local branch of B'Nai Brith or perhaps Israel has a consulate out thataway.

Revnant Dream  – (5:58 AM)

BCF. If we win against this assault by Colonizers bent on forcing their way of life on us with vgiolence. It will be the actions of individuals Like you guys stopping the infiltration. It sure as shootin won't be the Government.

Xanthippa  – (9:51 AM)

Good to see all the good guys!

Josephine  – (10:30 AM)

Thanks for the link, BCF!

Blazing Cat Fur  – (10:34 AM)

NP J you did Good work;)

Wally Keeler  – (12:46 PM)

This demo makes me feel sad that I no longer live in Toronto to easily enable me to be with the good dudes.

I was especially turned on by the Kassam rockets -- wonderful imagery. Next time use a mock up ambulance to stop at your site to unload the rockets.

It reminded me of the day in the 80s when my SS20. was prevented from being part of the spring peace demo. I wanted it to be along side the cruise missile mock-up.

Wally Keeler  – (12:49 PM)

It might be effective to perch a bloody baby doll on the tips of some of those mock Kassam rockets.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (12:54 PM)

Excellent suggestions Wally!

Wally Keeler  – (1:03 PM)

Kassams: Weapons of Hamas Destruction.

Incognito  – (3:53 PM)

Great pics BCF. We don't get much of that down these parts..

Stef  – (3:56 PM)

The counter-protest was ridiculous. Your signs were offensive and completely off-base. No one in our protest ever said anything about supporting Jihad or Hamas. We were calling for an end to the ILLEGAL siege of Gaza and demanding food, medical supplies and building materials to the MILLIONS of refugees there. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Wally Keeler  – (4:12 PM)

Hi Stef. If Hamas had not ILLEGALLY seized Gaza, there would not have been a shortage of food, medical supplies, etc. Get it?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:17 PM)

Uh Steff sorry to burst your self-righteous little lefty balloon but if you take an actual look at the pictures I posted you'll see a man saluting Hitler as a way to insult the Pro-Israel counter protestors ( Ill post more on this later), as well there is a picture of a very large Hezbollah flag, you do know what Hezbollah is and what they are all about don't you Steff, are you suggesting they are somehow not as bad as Hamas? Brighten up sweety.

So Stef read this and see if you have a change of mind about Hamas and Hezbollah yet?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:21 PM)

Stef this is for you, head over to Moose & Squirrel and read the comment by Kaffir Canuck, well worth the visit.

Viking  – (4:22 PM)

@BCF

Am I correct in saying that the surrounding Arab nations won't touch the HALF a million Gaza refugees with a bargepole?
Or am I confuzzed?

Stef  – (4:26 PM)

The protest had nothing to do with Hezbollah. I didn't see the flag, but regardless, nothing in our message referred to Lebanon or Hezbollah.
I did see the man giving the Hitler salute; I was standing right beside him. I was still standing there when two organizers of the march asked him to leave, as that was NOT our message.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:28 PM)

Hell there is way too much money involved for the Pallies to ever desire such an outcome Viking - http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/03/02/lawmakers-worry-gaza-aid-away-hamas/

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:35 PM)

Stef what you mean is that saluting Hitler and brandishing Hezbollah flags was not the public message organizers wished to convey, but the Mask unforunately as at all such events slips very easily.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:47 PM)

Here's a little more cognitive dissonance comin yer way Stef, courtesy Kaffir Canuck:

And to expose a little more truth about life inside the Gaza concentration camp, check out these photos.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (5:47 PM)

Stef I want you to read this article.

Listed among the organizations mentioned are groups that endorse your "Gaza Freedom March" , some among them have openly made common cause with murderous terrorists.

Viking  – (5:59 PM)

Sad to see Roger Waters on that list :-(

Blazing Cat Fur  – (6:04 PM)

Yea, have to class him among the drug addled.

shel  – (7:08 PM)

i grew tired of Water's earnest socialist pleadings at age 23 or so.

"Am I correct in saying that the surrounding Arab nations won't touch the HALF a million Gaza refugees with a bargepole?"
Sure the Arabs will, as long as the 2-3 million official refugees remain inside the camps where they (the refugees) can be financed by western charitable support. The only Arab state with a recognised population from 'Palestine' is Jordan. All other states do not officially permit 'Palestinian' immigration.

Cheers

Afarin Maleki-Raei  – (9:36 PM)

I find these comments here disgusting ! yet typical of you Johoods.

My family and I attended the march (we were 15+) and we even brought our kids.

You certantly didn't outnumber the "hamasites".

Canada understands your treachery.
