LGFrumpy has completed her report on the the rally:
"Canada, Canada, Wake Up!" was the cry I heard most often at yesterday's Coptic Christian march through downtown Toronto. Their voices raw and sometimes desperate, the marchers cried out to Canada, their beacon of hope and democracy, to put an end to Islamic terrorism and save their fellow Copts in Egypt.
Their message was simple and blunt and absolutely not politically correct: "Islamic terrorists must be stopped!" "No more Christian blood!" "Why, why, must we die?" "No, no Islam by force!"

Lumpy Grumpy & Frumpy covered the rally and has tons of Photo's from what she reports was a large turnout. I can't help but note the absence of the Canadian Islamist Arab Federation - for them the only bash worth attending is a Jew Bash;)

I woud have marched if I had known about this. The Egyptian Christians are orthodox, like me. Their treatment in Egypt is horrific.

they had marches in New York and DC too... will try and post about that.. hardly a peep from the MSM. And although there are pics of Hindus and Sikhs marching along with them, not one sign of a Muslim.

It's great that he was able to capture this bit. The crowd at Queen's Park was so thick and large that I couldn't get close enough to hear what was being said. I left at 2:10 and headed for Timmy's to get some coffee.

Alas, alas, Canada needs more than a wake-up call.
Typically, you don't shout "wake-up!" to your neighbour or to your MSM who are wide awake, working to destroy Christianity in any form.
We Christian peasants need to wake-up. Bishops and priests and ministers and pastors and Popes and Patriarchs need to wake-up too. Jews need to wake-up. Others, also.
Islam and Libslam are indeed enemies. And they both ravage in any way they can. They are being successful because we are asleep. We are dreaming.
The march and the blogs are probably the best we can do -- we just need a multiplication factor. There should have been many tens of thousands helping out that rally. I'd bet that many (or most) Christian clergy didn't even mention it today.
Reliance on the enemy MSM is no excuse.

Noel, I read the notice at Jihad Watch a few days before the march; otherwise, I would not even have known this was taking place in my own city.
Isn't it interesting that the arson attempt that took place a couple of days ago was in the same building and same floor where Bob Dechert has his office ?
What are the odds that some Islamofacist was upset that Bob spoke at the Copt's rally over the weekend ?
An odd concidence indeed, I am keeping am eye on this.
