As I told Josephine at her site, if y'all have decided to "take it to the streets", you'd better get used to being told to move on by the cops. "Move on" is what the cops do. Its pretty much -all- they do.

The only way you win is by showing up with more people than Code Pink. Like, double. And you stay well away from them, while singing rude songs about them, pointing and laughing. And WHEN THE COPS COME OVER, as they absolutely will, the twenty to thirty of you tell them the ten mean Code Pink people are making you uncomfortable and could they please move them away before something unpleasant should happen, thanks so much.

And then the cops will roust Code Pink. Because its easier.

But if they should tell -you- to leave, then you LEAVE. And you get it on film, and you complain in writing to every government agency there is, and you give them all a DVD of your peaceful nice group being rousted, and you do this same thing every damn week until the cops get different orders.

But if you argue with the cops, or yell, or make a ruckus, sooner or later you'll get your face busted. Josephine keeps writing like she expects this crap to be fair. It ain't fair.

Better to stick to speaking engagements and posting video on the web, IMHO. Because pain hurts, y'know?

Josephine putting the cop on edge is stupid. Posting a video of the cop rousting Josephine is -smart-. Making sure not to identify the cop personally in the video would be -really- smart. Do not scare the cops!

Sun Tsu figured all this out long ago. You make the enemy wear himself out while you sit at home and count your money.

You notice the gun registry is about to be repealed? You think it didn't take us 20 years to make that happen? Never surrender.

This will come in time too, there's no need for anybody's face to get messed up.

Two points: would the police been this brutish had the 'disturber of peace' been a topless female (thus identifying herself as a radical feminist)? Especially in the Canadian wintertime....

That ALMOST makes it worth the try...

Second point: police officers must not obey illegal orders! Ever!

And, any and every police officer who DOES obey and/or enforce an illegal order MUST be brought up on both criminal and civilian charges. That is necessary to maintain our civilization.

Yes, police officers are taught to follow orders - and that is how they safeguard their pensions.

Still, that does NOT excuse them from following an order which breeches our Canadian laws: that is why they go through such extensive training - to learn how to uphold the laws of our land, regardless of the 'orders from above'!

It may be unfortunate....but, we are at the point where it is our DUTY to bring police officers who follow illegal orders to court, to answer for their choices. After all, it is the individual police officers who are the 'face of lawkeeping' - and it is time they lived up to it instead of hiding behind illegal orders and procedures!
