Keep in mind that "political activities" are not among the stated reasons for this suspension. I believe there are many registered charities, like IRFAN, that report "NO" for political activities on their annual returns Section C7 in fact engage in overt political activity. But it seems that CRA is not in the business of investigating this element of charities' status. Perhaps if ordinary taxpayers were to make formal complaints...
They do Glasnost but only if it's a Christian charity.
