"This is Waleed Aboziad, husband of Naema, the woman that was expelled for wearing Niqab in Montreal"
This is worth reading for such gems as: "This is a big mistake as clothes, especially in the west, is not stable; it change every day, and if we consider clothes are affecting the cultural this mean that the cultural change each day so it is not a cultural then."
This is a pretty one good one though: "My final word is that when you give the government the right to limit the freedom of choice in any issue, one day it will come against you, and they will limit your freedom."
Right on Waleed! I can certainly get behind that last statement, (which Im'a thinkin Wally cribbed), as for Quebec's request that the Niqab be nixed when utilizing government services, well I can get behind that too.
H/T Sanwin

He say what?
Clothes is unstable I think.
I was speaking with my good friend FairLeigh Flatulent about this just a moment ago, and he had this to say.
"Wally makes a good point about unstable clothes and their affect on the cultural. He hit the cultural on the head. There isn't one.
Clearly you can see the crisis in health care that exists when you have to wait 8 hours in Emerg. I mean that is unconscionable. For just about a trillion dollars, (borrowed from the Chinese, since they seem to be the only ones with cash left) Barry O can fix that one up for you, Wally.
Wally is moaning because the government man is making him look at his wife's face. Is there a problem here? Some women look better with a double Niqab. Maybe that's his point.
But, aside from that Wally is not a white anglo saxon male, so therefor he is higher up the Human rights food chain than us white folks.
I guess Wally does not like the government limiting his freedom of choice. Maybe he should go back home, or get a white-ectomy done, and see how he likes it here.
Anyway that's what FairLeigh had to say, with the wind at his back.
Some women look better with a double Niqab.
That seems very sexist; unless you mean one for her and one for you...
glasnot,
If you saw Cherufa Jamal you would understand why sometimes two are better than one.
You mean "two-bagger"?
Eloquent ... and content free.
Its probably not PC to laugh at someone for whom English is clearly not his first language.
Still, is it fair game to comment that logical thought is also foreign territory to him?
Uh, that health care problem he talks about with 8 hour waits hasn't exactly been helped by the influx of immigrants with low contributions to the treasury.
There's something surreal in seeing an Egyptian muslim immigrant talk about freedom of speech..
I'm thinkin he cribbed that last part about the risk of government limiting our freedoms;)
Not really Sanwin. Why do you think the guy left Egypt?
OTOH, welcome to Canada guy. Your wife wants government services (which is what this is about) then jettison the bag.
Your wife wants to walk around all day with a bag on here head? Government can't tell her not to.
That's not unreasonable, and that's how I like it.
Phantom,
I'm sure the dude will have a completely different opinion on free speech if you were to discuss the cartoon issue with him.
He's a free-speecher of convenience.
Cat,
Maybe he got Syed Sowhardy to write that for him !
Syed? He can't red good neither.
The f*ckin' guy is lucid and inconsistent.
I need each Canadian and Quebecois to ask himself, what is better for him; to live in a country that ban or limit his freedom, or to live in a country that make his life and economic better. - Waleed Aboziad
What's with all the male dominated language with regards to freedom? (his, him, himself).
Get it girls? In "Wally's World" you are a non-entity. It could be called "Meccanisation" - Welcome to the 7th century!
Ban or limit freedom = make "his" life and economic better? WTF?
Wally, allow me speak on behalf of the women that I personally know, "GO. F*CK. YOURSELF."
Regards,
Uh, lucid actually means clear and easily understood.
Raphael..
Exactly, as in "transparently clear"..
I should have said "lucid [but]inconsistent".
Thanks for pointing that out.
Regards,
Note he doesn't mention "Them as in men and women" when he speaks of freedom and culture he only uses the word MEN? Yea I now know why the misses wears the burka he fools no one.
Waleed Aboziad
Every thing changes so Canada has no real culture like His.
Therefore we should submit to their culture, since we don't have one. Is that the Idea Waleed ? Since Islam Say's your to torment the infidel as long as you can. Allah likes that. How does that pan out in Canada. Want the right to rape none Muslim Women? Same people want to do some snazzy little torture with mutilation as a cultural side dish. Hey, maybe we can have a conversation about forced female circumcision.
After all, the cloths change all the time.
You see, he's just a Mecca Neck

Well said. Some folks are free-speechers until their religious feelings are hurt and then the gloves come off and the fatwas start flying.
