"Attempting to board"? Not exactly. The Emirates flight in question had pushed back from the JFK gate and was taxiing to join the takeoff lineup. No doubt there were a few FBI folks on board watching him with great interest to see if he might be "traveling with friends" before the aircraft was ordered back to the gate. Very well played.

I was infuriated hearing Bloomberg say that he would not tolerate the targeting of muslims and Pakistanis in New York.
