Is the CHRC's Jennifer Lynch an anti-Semite?
Ezra ponders the question after it was revealed that Ms. Lynch of the alleged "Canadian Human Rights Commission" has conferred "stakeholder" status on the virulently anti-semitic Canadian Islamic Congress, an organization so vile that the federal government ended all contact with them.

Why is Jennifer Lynch so enthusiastic about an organization that wrote the Turkish Ambassador to offer condolences on the deaths of innocent "Turkish Citizens" at the hands of the "despicable" Israelis? An organization that enthusiastically publishes the work of freaks like Greg Felton? Why is Jennifer Lynch allowed to retain her post?

Forget about JL for the moment; it is at least worth pointing out that what some call the (post-World War II) "Human Rights" worldview is inherently antisemitic in the sense that it is a worldview founded in respsonse to the Holocaust and with a need to question the priority or distinctiveness of the Jewishness of that event. That the major victims of the Holocaust were white, and that this event which happened in Europe nevertheless founds a way of thinking about and identifying "people of colour" as equally unquestionable (i.e. "Nazi/Jew") victims in the postcolonial era is problematic. It's sad that the role of the victim has become desirable and empowering in our age; but it has and so once again Jewish priority in world history has to be denied, even the darkest kind of priority. The Zionists must serve as the new Nazis.
If one thinks in these terms, then one can see that all people who are PC - who are against any people being in any way more central than others in world history - are in some sense antisemitic, which is not to say they will have a personal animus against any individual just because they are Jewish. But they will have trouble with all that the Jewish nation symbolizes in history.
To clarify, it's not that there are not a lot of victims in world history; the problem with the Jews is that it was precisely at the moment after the Holocaust (and Hiroshima) that the age of postcolonial white guilt and victim worship begins. Why was the Jewish Holocaust (and not any of the many previous genocides) such a turning point in world history? Why did no one on the world stage bat much of an eye when the Germans were on the rampage earlier in the century in Namibia? That kind of question leads to antisemitic answers.

scaramouche, someone commented on Ezra's blog that Jenny's HRC is a spoke in the UN Human Rights Council. Which as we all know is dominated by crackpots and OIC members.
If in the past she didn't display any overt anti-semitism, she is definitely becoming one by virtue of being part of that organization.
(which to me explains why the CIC was able to become a stakeholder at Jenny's HRC given their rabid anit-semitism and illegitimacy as a community organization by the gov't that Ezra was referencing.)
No doubt, she's trying to run a shadow government and it smells more and more like the global Muslim agenda at work.
