MasterCard Canada Offers Halal Credit Card Supporting Jew Baiting 9/11 Truther

Square Mile Wife brings you the good news on the iFreedom Plus MasterCard.  A card that supports an alleged charity, the RS Foundation, lead by a Sharia Loving 9/11 Truther named Shujaat Wasty.

"There is no doubt that the Zionist movement occupies a primary role in the WTC attacks"... Shujaat Wasty

"Dr. Shaaban also proposed that as Europe has recently passed a law that forbids doubting the Holocaust, today it should pass another law that bans racist insults against Muslims and Islam. I second this proposal and hope that the Canadian and American governments implement the same."
Shujaat Wasty

Update: Dear Canadian Living

Why thank you, but you did the work SMW!

Tim Johnston  – (9:06 AM)

what what?

hah. prepaid credit cards have been around for years, and now they're packaging them as Halal? ridiculous. Just another encroachment of Sharia - accepting the Islamic idea that 'interest' is sinful

Jim R  – (9:39 AM)

Interest sinful. Stoning good.

Frank Hilliard  – (10:16 AM)

What's 'iFreedom' stand for? Freedom from Israel?

Square Mile Wife  – (11:32 AM)

Tim - I agree completely. There is zero purpose for this card to be marketed as halal (since as you've said prepaid cards have been around for ages) except to advance Sharia. I cannot believe Canadian Living did not pick up on this. I know the bigger story is what MasterCard is financing, but still.....someone's cheeks should be red over this story. They just look silly. Even the terror loving extremists on some Islamic Forums wrote this off as a joke (I have the links but didn't publish).

Nice graphic work Blaze.

This bit on the facebook page caught my eye:

As such, it is the first payment card in Canada to be approved as Halal (Arabic for permissible) by a panel of three Muslim religious scholars affiliated with the Usury-Free Association of North America.

http://www.facebook.com/notes/ifreedom-plus-mastercard/canadas-first-halal-approved-mastercardr-debuts-at-islamic-conference/223277589070

WTF? Usury-Free Association of North America. I doubt the pay day loans racket is a member.

truepeers  – (12:22 PM)

Maybe the purpose of the card is so you don't have to handle money that has been through the paws of kuffaar...

Anyway, I wonder if it works in Israel

I use Visa but just signed up for a MC to get %15 off at Zellers. Now you've got me feeling all guilty!!

Blazing Cat Fur  – (12:30 PM)

Interesting link Rasp Thanks!

Sorry Tru please continue your consumerist lifestyle in a guilt free manner;)

thedailyrasp  – (1:23 PM)

I just sent an email to Canadian Living to let them know how displeased I am about this. As Flea suggested send to Advertising. They just sh@t about this if it is going to cost $$$.

(Mind you they're still dhimmi tools.)

Paul  – (2:09 PM)

... someone does read them so if you tell them to go f*ck themselves enough times, they do eventually start to listen.

... with the exception of the CBC, (who are accountable to no one), letting them know does have an effect in changing their ways.

Revnant Dream  – (3:58 PM)

This is why I cut up my cards 6 years ago. Sick of people using my money for unscrupulous means. It may be a pain in the ass not to have any, but I never worry about debt anymore. Nor my funds going to support Jihad.

I've read in the NP how Halal banking generally has falled by the wayside in the UK, with even Lloyds realising it's a dead duck.

I wonder if the Muslims themselves are even fooled: with Islamic banking you don't receive interest, you receive "profit". You don't pay interest, you pay a "service fee" (never mind that interest has always been thought of as a service fee anyway). It's a farce as you say, Blaze.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (4:32 PM)

That's interesting to note Tim I will have to look into its failure in the UK.

Roz  – (4:50 PM)

only pressed send once but then it told me it did not take so again i submitted comment and now i see it took 3 times.. what's up with that?:)

Blazing Cat Fur  – (5:01 PM)

Aiyeeeee!!! My Comments have been possessed by an Islamic Genie Roz!!

botcho  – (7:22 PM)

Yeah well it's to be expected really.
This law firm here has been on the pointy end of all this sharia nonsense for a few years now.
http://www.ogilvyrenault.com/en/mediaRoom_907.htm

And who's Ogilvy Renault you ask and what makes them so special? Nothing really except for the fact that they go out of their way to hire government has beens such as Michael Bryant, Brian Mulroney, Phil Fontaine for their help.
So, what the government won't do at least from a policy perspective you can bet the multinat corporations and their money grubbing law firms will be there to pull up the slack.

botcho  – (7:23 PM)

sorry, this link is better.

Talking of Ogilvy Renault, does anybody remember what Mulroney wrote about Saudi Arabia in Globe and Mail? It ended with: "Clearly, Saudi Arabia and Canada can go forward – together."
