Well at least she had two legs...

Okay, this is unrelated but funny.
From Craigslist;

Canadian politics (Vancouver)
Wow, just cruised through the Vancouver politics site and if you guys are representative of Canadians, man, it's no wonder your leaders can run rampant over you.

Basically sums up the state of the nation, I would say.

Our police have become Capo's for the Political left. The Equally Political Unions drive this service now. as do the Political lap dogs of the left, the police brass.
Is it any wonder they get it wrong so much?

An internal, independent, objective investigation using sophisticated digital (read "fingering") techniques invented near Eden will demonstrate unequivocally that the poor woman was about to fall. The policeman risked his life in his quick reaching repulsive response to catch her as she tripped on loose shoe laces.

Governments will invoke a shoe lace tax to support a police-saving pull-lace force. Never will police be subjected to such extreme risk again.

That apology they issued is pathetic.

Good God. You saw who immediately reached out to help her? That street woman who had just finished flopping her bedroll down on the sidewalk. Actually, I was looking at her, because I thought she must be the woman who fell down; only the bright flash of orange going down made me realize it was the other lady. What a disgrace.

This is all too prevalent, I lived on the Downtown Eastside and witnessed firsthand similar situations, granted there are lots of good cops there too.
