Has The Desperate Toronto Star Resorted To Buying Anti-Ford Ads On Google?

We know the Star hates Rob Ford and democracy, we know that  would-be saboteurs connected to the Star have edited Rob Ford's wikipedia page to add potentially libelous content and now we find the Star may actually be purchasing Anti-Ford Google Ads.

How's this for an insult from the Star to All Rob Ford supporters? EyeCrazy has the details.

UPDATE: Eyecrazy called The Star's Advertising Department - "they said they did not take out this ad. However this raises the question, who then would be able to take out an ad placed through Google's ad servers that had The Star's name and a link back to its site on it if not them? All very strange and suspicious."

Sure I believe that don't you? Bullshit.

The link on the ad went right to www.thestar.com

That figures, what scumbags.

Let me guess, there are no 3rd party spending guidelines or limits in ON municipal elections.

Swampland for sale you say?

Good research BCF and VG. Let's face it. The Star is a Tammany Hall newspaper -- bought and paid for by the left-wing that controls city hall. The paper is crooked -- and the people who work there are crooked.

One should not think of The Star as a left-wing newspaper, but as a crooked Tammany Hall newspaper. Once you see The Star through this new lens, a whole new world opens up.

EyeCrazy deserves the credit David, and you are quite right, The Star is a leftist rag.

Voltaire's Ghost  – (11:32 AM)

This is very fishy, as is the fact the ads appeared briefly, for one cycle, then vanished.

IF the Star's not behind it, then the logical conclusion would be that it's someone who opposes Ford and whose message/position is being promoted by the Star. I wonder who that could be? That doesn't sound like Pantalone or Thompson..

I tried calling Google offices in Toronto to get to the bottom of this. Believe it or not, Google Canada offers no form of live support, the contact phone number is basically an answering service. The person I spoke with gave me the number of Google's head office in California, which I'll call after 12 pm (9 am Pacific time) but she told me not to get my hopes up about speaking with a live person there either.

Bullshit - anything the Star tells you will be Bullshit.

Off topic a tad, but the Globe and Mail's resident hard-leftist, Rick Salutin, opines about Mr. Ford, stating that he represents "fear" -- whereas the Tamnany Hall David Miller represents "hope" (as in "we hope we can bankrupt city hall", or, "we hope we can get our coke from the local immigrant gang member").

Herewith is Salutin's opus:

Note the interchange between the Globe and Mail and Rabble.ca. Not hard to beieve, eh?

Thanks David I give Salutin as much credit as I give Rabble which is none;)

I hope Ford gets spending under control and Salutin fears his trough feeding friends are going to get their Toronto Arts Council grants reduced

Go check the link back to the story again. I just did an update.

I was checking out the story on that disgusting Wong-Tam character and what ad did I see on Sassywire? (did a screenshot)

Well it can always get worse, I wish it wouldn't but it does.

Amazing, I hope they have lots of layoffs to compensate.

Re Rick Salutin: Here's what I had to say about what he had to say about Rob Ford over at SDA earlier today:

nv53 cites Rick Salutin, Probe and Fail, Friday: "Rob Ford and the loss of hope".

Salutin's a fine one to talk about hope. I saw him loping along Bloor Street the other day, looking like the night of the living dead. The public's rejecting the kind of "hope" that he and his leftard comrades have been pushing for years, the hope that steals from the rest of us to prop up the lifestyles of the dopers, the dippers, and the duds, "victims" every one. Duh.

Crawl back into your hole, Rick.

Well said Batb the man is hopeless.
