Terrorist Bagman George Galloway Coming To Toronto Oct 2-3

On Sunday, October 3 at 3:00 p.m., Mr. Galloway will address a city-wide public meeting at Trinity-St. Paul's United Church, 427 Bloor Street in downtown Toronto, where he will deliver in person the message he was forced to deliver by Internet broadcast in March 2009.

Former British MP George Galloway will arrive in Toronto on Saturday, October 2 to resume his pan-Canadian speaking tour after being prevented from entering Canada in March 2009. A welcome rally that includes tour organizers, supporters and Mr. Galloway's legal counsel will assemble at 5:00 p.m. at the Terminal 1 arrivals gate at Lester B. Pearson International Airport. Upon Mr. Galloway's arrival, he will hold a 15-minute media conference at the gate.

I think this is good. This time we can refuse Galloway entry, and give the far-lefties something to really cry about.

Should be fun to watch this unfold.

Notice that George The Jew-hater's first talk is at a United Church. This figures. And the United Church of Canada claims it is not anti-Semitic.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (2:59 PM)

The United Church is neither United nor a Church.

Thermblog  – (3:32 PM)

In what will be a devastating blow, I divulge that an anagram of UCC written in full is:

Fat, anarchic, odd eunuch.

So there.

scream  – (3:39 PM)

If he collects money for Hamas at his talk, can those contributors be charged with supporting a terror org?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (3:40 PM)

Hmm don't see why not.

truepeers  – (6:01 PM)

How much moral blackmail, extortion by victim-waving, Hamas-supporting, thugs can our country take? Will the Haper government stand by its beliefs of find an excuse to cave. They have a lot to lose and little to gain, by way of supporters, if they cave.

This United "church" is just around the corner from me.

Agreed, BCF: The UCC is not really a church, I mean not really a Christian Church -- it's that in name only.

As far as I can figure, Trinity-St. Paul's is a community centre and a concert hall. Their info board outside hasn't mentioned Jesus in years, although it does mention "social justice," "rainbows," "rights," and "equality" a lot.

Usually, when I first type "United" my fingers get mixed up (either that, or they know something I should know) and type "Untied." The UCC set itself adrift from orthodox Christian beliefs a very long time ago, and instead of worshipping the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, seems to bend the knee to the likes of Tommy Douglas, Jack Layton, Ellie May, and the issue de la semaine.

So, is Galloway being allowed into Canada? And, and, if so, WHY?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (6:57 PM)

Well Galloway was never actually barred as he never actually showed up to test the border. He was warned in advance he might be barred should he have attempted to enter at the time.

He is a terrorist bagman, still letting him speak is the best disinfectant, he is the poster boy of the anti-semitic lunatic left.

Trupeers I doubt Harper will do anything, his policy of incrementalism means doing very little that is actually conservative.

Jeez, we must be neighbours BATB, I live very close to there too. You're right, it's the home to the offices of about half the radical nutbar organizations in the city.

But on the plus side, they are the home of tafelmusic too.

I guess they gear to the market. I don't get the impression there's a big church-going component to the neighbourhood near Bloor and Spadiana

Voltaire's Ghost  – (8:25 PM)

And i agree, if he would have just come in before, he would have blustered a bit as always and gone away unnoticed.

Now he has publicity and controversy, which is what he thrives on. Prbably best to inore him and let him slink away after.

he's not even an MP any more. His gig is as a host for Ahmadenjad's Press TV, where he did the most disgusting, obsequious interview imaginable with the crazed Iranian il Duce

Wally Keeler  – (8:30 PM)

I lived for several years at 100 Spadina Rd. Back in the eighties the church was the centre of peacenik activity and thanks to it being there, I learned a lot about the influence of commie con.

Wally Keeler  – (8:33 PM)

Oh this will make my weekend in Toronto. I can protest Galloway's garbage in the afternoon, and listen to Lars Vilks later that evening. Life is good.

VG, yup, we must be neighbours! Just think, we probably pass by each other without even knowing it ... but, you are a ghost, after all ... ;-)

truepeers  – (1:51 AM)

Psst, Galloway planted the stuxnet worm in Iran, pass it on....

Louise  – (2:58 AM)

Ummm. If denial of entry was contemplated the last time due to his financial support for a terrorist organization, what makes this time any different?

If he gets in this time, have your raw eggs and rotten tomatoes ready to go.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (6:34 AM)

Should be an interesting day Louise.
