Pics from the Ezra Levant Tribute Dinner hosted by the Canadian Centre For Policy Studies
A good time was had by all!
We had the pleasure of attending last nights tribute dinner For Ezra Levant, a sold out event hosted by the Canadian Centre for Policy Studies. The evening featured a rousing talk by Mark Steyn that had everyone on their feet. Father Raymond de Souza also spoke and much to our surprise noted that on meeting Ezra when both were still high school students he observed that EZ was "not lacking in any measure of self-esteem". Well I'll be!
Deborah has more pics. Barrelstrength also attended as did RightChik and Gay and Right, also on hand were Vlad & Grace from Vlad Tepes & Connie & Marc from Freedo. Check out Vlad for video of the evening's testimonials later!
Mark Steyn has his post up now.
We will be in London for Mark Steyn's talk tomorrow night. Be there or at least get the T-Shirt!
Hands down (feet down?) RightChik had the wickedest shoes!

Kathy looks adorable in that top pic ... nice job!!
And where's your pic, mate???
I didn't take any of myself;)
I don't blame you, Blazing ...
Wasn't it a great evening?
It was so good to see everyone.
Deborah
RightChik's shoes, almost Ruby Red slippers; Right Chick clicks and where would she rather end up than at the Ezra Levant Tribute dinner? ... 'wish I had Ruby Red slippers... :-(
Oh well, I'm glad to hear that a good time was had by all ... while my husband, daughter, and I went to Psycho at the TIFF Light Box and had a few glasses of wine instead ... :-(
Enough! I hope the dinner made tons of money for some very good causes, one of which, I hope, is your cause, BCF. Every time I think about what Warm** is up to, I feel like strangling someone. (Are you allowed to say that, anymore, as just a turn of phrase -- no, not a turn of the neck? I don't actually mean I want to strangle someone. 'So boring, these days, to have to qualify any slightly, teeny-weeny, "controversial" statement: I didn't really mean it, what I meant to say was, 'just joking (though that only works for the leftards).
What a world! Thanks, all you guys -- you, Kathy, Mark, Ezra, Deborah, Dr. Roy, RightChik, et al. -- for sticking up for freedom of speech, for, literally, putting your money where your mouths are. (When does Warm** have to?)
I caught Mark on Power and Politics the other day, and he's an affable guy.

It's stunning that he's thought to be so "controversial" here in the True, North, Strong and Free that he's got to be stifled.
'Only in Canada, you say? Uh huh.
Well Batb, I did get a really nice shout out from Mark and a hearty round of applause from the crowd, we did raise both money and awareness.
As Deborah noted it was good to meet our fellow bloggers and readers as well.
Gonna be fun in London tomorrow night.
I ditto the remark... Great picture of Kathy!!!! Can Kathy work her magic? I so want a pic with Mark Steyn tomorrow... ahhhhhh I suppose me and a thousand others... sigh....still to dream per chance to steal a hug????
Looks like a good time was had by all; guess no point looking in the society pages for a write-up, congratulations, and photos of all and sundry in glamorous attire...
MP's and MPP's were in attendance, as well other muckity mucks Pieface, felt a little odd being introduced to some of them by Ezra.
Hope you enjoyed the festivities.
Yes it was nice Rev thanks.
