Another relativist attempt to equate any Judeo-Christian scripture with violence when factually, very little if any “blood letting” occurs in the name of these religions, however in Islam, it’s always about the blood! The taqiyya of victimization is strong within this one. The false accusations of persecution invoking the fear of a Canadian styled Kristallnacht is over the top, but not atypical of those who write for the Muslim/Islamic/Arab cause in Canada these days. “Steps to disenfranchise and disempower Canadian Muslims are also being pursued just as relentlessly, on a scale of calculated and increasing severity.”

I’m not even Jewish, but I find that bit of revisionist inference demeaning what the Nazis did pretty offensive.

She’s all but blamed the Joooos. No wait, she did blame the son of a Jew, Michael Coren. And the NP. And the Government. And the Christians. But not the “…mere handful of fanatic individuals caused the death of thousands of innocent Americans”, they’re just a fluke.

And Spain. Yes, let’s talk about “…the 800 years of peaceful co-exsistence in Spain among the three leading monotheistic religions -- Judaism, Christianity, and Islam -- under Muslim rule.” Well, if conquering the Visigoths through war, which I’m certain in Wahida’s view was a bloodless nerf bat battle, to occupy and rule a people for hundreds of years is her way of describing peaceful Islam, then she truly is of a Medieval mindset.

But the old trick of claiming that the “Muslims are the New Jews” is getting old. Back in Jan 2010 I wrote a piece of the same name, and other than the same arguments being made this time for Islam, the last time it was for the leftist agenda. The last time it was to further Harper’s ideological mission to exempt the Jewish State from human rights scrutiny, this time it’s because they’re the new Jews.

If I didn’t know any better, Muslims like Wahida the Hut have Jewish envy. Instead the truth is people like her are a product of a culture and mindset that can’t take responsibility for the problems in their own community. If they can’t blame the Jews, they’ll claim to be treated like Jews, which either way belays their anti-Semitism, for here in Canada, other than the minute social aberration of white supremicism and the French Canadian intolerance of anything non-French in Quebec, who else has issues or are so infatuated with Jews to the point of violence and/or victimization, other than Muslims?

Just point out next time that Islam is basically a Jewish heretical cult, except for the bits derived from pre-Mohammidan tribal/pagan customs.

The nasty bits are the tribal pagan left-overs; the parts cited as demonstrating Islam's "Abrahamic" roots are taken from 7th Century Judaic offshoots, with some influences from the Christian heretical fringe of the time.

The 'problem' of Islam had largely been solved by the 1940s, after Muslim nations spent centuries impoverishing themselves into impotent insignificance - until we started buying their oil.

If Wahida is trying to be an outspoken apologist for nice moderate Islam, she is failing spectacularly.

A couple of years ago I researched the CIC web site for anti-Semitic statements by Ms. Valiante. And there are plenty to be found. Mostly they are theologically-based, citing Koran verses justifying the treatment of Jews as second-class citizens in Mulsim-ruling countries.

The CIC has changed the format of its web site, so it is more difficult to research these statements. But trust me, Valiante was posted many anti-Semitic statements in the past. I will try to dig up one or two.
