Tarek Fatah: The Jews are not our enemy (or, Why We Hate the Jews)

Mohammed Bin Kafir's Soap Box, I just came across this spoof site today, I mean I hope it's a Spoof!

Tarek must have gotten together with the blogger and smoked some of Vancouver's world-famous BC Bud before his speech at Beth Shalom. (over $1 Billion in annual exports, I might add.)

... he's like ya know, a fairy-tale Muslim butterfly fluttering around Allah's paradise.

Odd though, how he hasn't given a single speech at even one mosque but seems to pack them in at temples.

Obviously, he doesn't know what he's talking about given the universal rejection of this theory from professional Muslamics, and obviously the Vancouver Jewish community wants to believe what it wants want to hear.

I'm faklempt. Talk amongst yourselves.

Tarek is as Tarek does and like the weather he's changeable.

Maybe Terek would get stoned if he tried to speak at a mosque. I think we should try to support him and others like him.

Paul  – (11:17 AM)

yeah, but getting stoned before mosque and getting stoned before temple are two entirely different things.

Blazing Cat Fur  – (11:27 AM)

I am afraid we have lost the drug war so I guess stoning is ok with me.

Paul  – (11:30 AM)

drug war??? what drug war??
(I must have missed it on television.)

Mohammed bin Kafir? It's a joke name ... like Sillyus Sorus, or Biggus Dickus. (Yeah, I know, you have a verwy gweat fweind in Wome named Biggus Dickus.)

Gotta be a spoof. But he did get the title of the book wrong. So, I dunno.

It's increasingly hard to tell. You should see some of the e-mails I've been getting from a crazed Islamic chick - All us Zionists are gonna be burned in Ahmadinejad's "Islamic Ovens" etc etc etc...

If you made that kind of crazy up no one would believe you.

Paul  – (11:47 AM)

hey BCF, post her IP (not sure if gmail lets you see the routing code but if it does, one can fix her wagon.)

Blazing Cat Fur  – (11:54 AM)

Oh I know who and where she is, she's a known nut.

@Osh...haha..thanks for pointing out the mistake on the book title...I haven't read the book myself, but they were selling it at the temple after the talk.

In all truth, it wasn't a very informative 'discussion' and I was surprised to hear Fatah doesn't talk to Muslim groups. But then again, I hadn't heard of him before last week either. I gather he's always stirring up controversy. But that doesn't mean some points he makes aren't valid.

Of course, any criticism of conventional Muslim doctrine will be reviled by the majority Muslim community. Which I guess was his point--that unless the community gets past that and is able to have objective discussions about the nature and origin of their beliefs, there will never be a lasting peace politically or morally.
