I only caught the tail end of our conversation with Badge No. 3478, an arrogant boob too dim to understand that he serves the public and not the other way around. Read 5Feet's account for the details. This occured while we were filming the arrest of several "anarchists" on Bloor this afternoon, The officer crossed the street and demanded we stop filming and move along. We refused, he heard me turn on the camera and that's when the fun began. Bear in mind this occurred at mid day on Bloor. The miscreants were cuffed and seated against a wall, about 30 police were in the immediate vicinity, no protest activity was occurring anywhere near this area. The biggest threat evident was from disgruntled Holt Renfrew shoppers.

Any Israeli citizen may go anywhere in the country. In al Arab/Islamic countries, real Apartheid is the order. And they hate gay people so much they kill them - legally! So what other conclusion can be drawn from this action than there is some powerful faction- perhaps even a majority of people in this organization who are so blinded by Jew hatred that they will support their own enemies to hurt Jews.
Before my Jewish faith, I am the straight father of a son with whom I joined the Gay-Straight Alliance in his High School. And before that I was the nine-year-old the brother of a young boy who at thirteen years of age, took his own life because he could not face the social stigma of growing up as a gay (in 1958) in America. On my brother's grave, on my son's handsome head and on the simple grounds that the support of such an ugly and misshapen organization is offensive to my very humanity, I want you to know that unless you withdraw your support from this event or use your financial power to correct this error, I will no longer be your customer. And don't even try to smoke screen the naked facts of this with the parliamentary mumbo jumbo that announced it in on the Pride Toronto web site. It is what it is, an example of an organization whose mind was so open, its brains fell out.
Oh, and you can count on me to spread the news of this and advocate for a boycott of your products."

Last December, I sent you a letter with details of a list of speakers for a conference on Islam. The speakers at that conference represented the positions of Political Islam. The Government of Canada took action and removed the charitable status from this front group of Political Islam. In the first week of July, another group with similar positions will hold a conference in Toronto. The Jewish Defence League of Canada has done a background check on the speakers. The information is listed below. As an example, one of the speakers is a man that goes by the name Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick.
This is what he says about the Gay Community, ……”They said “what is the Islamic position [on homosexuality]?” And I told them. Put my name in the paper. The punishment is death. And I’m not going to change this religion.” I am using him as an example because, durring the week of the conference will also be The Pride Parade. And at that Pride Parade will be a group that calls itself "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid". The group QAIA and the groups that they associate with have not spoken up against the blatant attack on Gay Rights from groups that promote Political Islam. The deceit and double standards is an outrage.
I would like the Government of Canada to look into the possible misuse of the charitable status of this group Islamic Relief Fund. Shaikh Muhammad Alshareef was born in 1975 and raised in Canada. Currently he lives with his family in Ottawa, Canada.
Institute founder Muhammad Alshareef expressed his thoughts on Muslim-Jewish relations in an article he published entitled, “Why the Jews are Cursed” (curiously, this article is not available on Al-Maghrib’s Khutbah.com website).
As noted by the Militant Islam Monitor, in Alshareef’s article he expounds on the anti-Semitic canard that the international media is owned and controlled by Jews, and thus, biased against Muslims:
……”When I was in high school, studying in journalism class, our teacher had placed on the wall a statement that I spent many days contemplating. It simply said, "Freedom of the press (speech) belongs to those that own the press!" Who owns the press? Well, you can believe me when I say that it is not the god fearing beloved of Allah.”….
The remainder of Alshareef’s article recites a litany of accusations against the Jewish faith, blaming them for a wide range of iniquities, including changing the words of Allah, making blasphemous statements, and murdering the Prophets. He concludes his essay by decreeing that Muslims should not ally with Jews, should not imitate them and proscribing Muslims from ever marrying Jews or Christians.

From a survey asked of muslims only, in 7 nations (Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Turkey, Nigeria, Egypt), Pew Research concludes there is "Limited Support for Extremism" in answer to the question of whether "suicide bombing" is often or sometimes justified.
What's interesting to note is that in no fewer than 4 of the nations surveyed a minimum of 20% or greater of respondents expressed support for suicide bombing, Lebanon, Jordan, Nigeria & Egypt. 20% or greater support for "suicide bombing" in 4 of 7 nations surveyed does not count as "limited support" in my books. Also interesting to note is that in each of the nations surveyed support for "suicide bombing" actually increased from 2009 to 2010 with only Nigeria showing a somewhat dramatic decrease of 9 percentage points between 2009 and 2010. Were you to exclude this 9 per cent drop in support from 1 nation, Nigeria, support for "suicide bombing" has in fact increased by a factor of 21% overall among respondents from 2009 to 2010. Even with that decline, support for "suicide bombing" among Nigerians surveyed remains at a robust 34%.

The Stars editorial "A dishonourable killing" is almost good, by the Star's standards at any rate, which isn't saying much. However being the slaves to the libleft notions of multicult that they are I suppose it was mandatory to toss in this little nod to their constituency:

Experts? What experts are the polititically correct zombies at the Star talking about? Islamist apologists like Mohamed "It's the Zhoo's" Elmasry & Shahina Siddiqui, president of the Islamic Social Services Association who labelled this tragedy a "teenager problem"? Perhaps the Star is referring to the "expert opinion" of Zafar Bangash who wrote; "I suggest this poor girl was as much the victim of incessant propaganda that has made Islam and Muslims the enemy, as she was the victim of her father's brutal assault."
Someone needs to pass the word to the The Star; sometimes in life there is only one side to a story.
To their credit the editorial does end with the clear message that the barbaric cultural practice of honour killing will not be tolerated by Canadian society. I confess to a mild case of shocked disbelief that the Star approvingly cites the Conservative governments latest citizenship handbook in doing so. That's progress, for the Star certainly, now if only the message would sink in with the apologists and fellow travellers infesting the "Human Rights Cult" & the allegedly "pro-feminist left" we would really be getting somewhere.
