Good question David. It's always baffled me why people choose to disfigure themselves with 'body art'. The whole facial shrapnel thing baffles me. Tattoos and piercings: no thanks.

The shame is, some of those breasts would have looked just fine without the questionable artwork.

I agree with the majority on this thread about tatoos and disfigurement.

However, I will mention a tale repeated to me, when I first immigrated to Canada in 1970, and lived in the old Bytown section of Ottawa. I lived next to a bar which featured prostitutes -- the Chez Lucien at the corner of Clarence and Parent streets (since torn down).

One of the prostitutes there was named "Hot Lucille", a big redhead I used to serve at a restaurant on Clarence street. A number of young men swore to me she had the word "yes" tatooed on one breast, and "no" tatooed on the other.

Tatooing was much simpler back then.
