Goddammit my dishes have been less than sparkling!
"I’ve added a new entry to my Recommended Reading list. If I were teaching a course in civics, critical thinking, or journalism Jonathan Last’s superb tale of how phosphates have disappeared from American dishwashing detergent would be examined early and referred to often."
Now I know why!
I pretend not to know how the clothes washer works, she pretends not to know how the dishwasher works. It works.
It's a good arrangement. Men tend to get bolshie about how the dishwasher is loaded - I know I do! Best to give each their area of expertise and keep things copacetic.
She's totally inadequate, no sense of spatial relationships or somethin.
2 tbsp. of TSP powder added to the dishwasher wash cycle, with the regular dishwasher detergent will replace the phosphates that have been banned. I think all the manufacturers have stopped using phosphates as they're not going to start selling one run to N. Dakota and the other to S. Dakota for example. Anyways, it's a secret. Don't talk about it, just do it.
I imagine that if we talk about this enough, TSP will be banned too at some point.
and gasoline.
An excellent tip;)
If its there some busybody will try to outlaw it. Matters not what.
This is true.
TSP is really good for washing walls, etc. Surprised it's not banned; anything that good has to be suspect.
I gotta get me some.
Don't get my friend started on that! She is hopping mad about phosphate-free dish-washing detergent.
Make eco-idiots do all the things they say are environmentally friendly and then show them the actual cost of their "green" lifestyle. Does it pay to have to wash your clothes and dishes twice or have low-flush toilets? Then hand them everyone else's bills.
It takes a village to raise an idiot.
I believe it K accidentally bought some "ECO Bleach" - absolutely useless crap. I poured it on a eco roof.
