Toronto Is The New Wisconsin: Manicures and Pedicures part of the "culture" at Toronto Community Housing
Good Lord.
Ford to replace housing board
Keiko's gotta go
"CEO Keiko Nakamura, who assumed the role in Feb. 2010. She was a member of the executive team reporting to the previous CEO, under whom many of the issues appear to have occurred, but said she always conducted herself with “complete integrity”. Ms. Nakamura vowed to correct the ills. She said staff have been “terminated” as a result of the report, but was unable to say how many. When pressed by reporters, she said her entire five-person executive team has been replaced."
Integrity? Maybe. Competency Nope.
Nice work if you can get it...
as despicable as section 13 of the hrc is, Harper has not axed it. will Ford have the cahonees to axe the likes of these disgusting parasites?
The Top Heads should roll, a few of the perps are gone.
What bunch of self important, pompous libtards. Thinking they could get away with trying to be rich and famous at the taxpayers expense.
Ford better handle on this self entitlement crap
Can't wait to see the full report, what a joke.
But.....aren't they entitled to their entitlements?
They're certainly entitled to our money.
I blame Fenris.
Cheers
Wow. Corrupt and rotten to the core.
And in a case of conflict of interest, the agency purchased more than $500,000 worth of solar panels from a Chinese supplier using an overseas agent, who was a long-time friend of a TCHC staff member.
If it wasn't for large numbers of immigrants from places such as Somalia, Toronto wouldn't need so much public housing. But what the heck, it is only tax-payers' money. I'm sure all you folks in Toronto didn't have anything else to do with your money...did you?
Heck no my mortgage pays itself.
Any more Peggy Lee pics? I am a big fan of hers.
Bit But... their entitled to their entitlements, even if they do nothing. Thats the deal for the down trodden.
JMO
I'll get some more David.
Same old same old Rev, likely all Miller appointees.
“I will not defend these actions,” Nakamura said. “Frankly I feel betrayed.” TCHC Chair David Mitchell also feels "betrayed."
What weasels.
I feel betrayed. The Toronto taxpayer feels betrayed. Perhaps the people who most need public housing feel betrayed.
"Betrayed" is not an appropriate response by Nakamura and Mitchell. "Ashamed" would be more like it.
FIRE. THEM. ALL. NOW.
I agree BatB, look to Wisconsin, steel yourself for a fight against our preadatory unions.
Bring back public floggings!
How I long for the good old days!
