Climate models go cold h/t WW

I can't believe our politicians are still paying lip service - or worse - to this crap!!!

Of course, 'carbon cap' is yet another tax grab....and easy to corrupt, too!

Can someone pass the vaseline, please?

Blazing Cat Fur  – (8:40 PM)

Little by little it is fading Xanth, common sense is asserting itself.

Very good piece here too,BCF:

Also the book "Confessions of a GreenPeace Dropout" - excellent reading.

It won't be long now before the Olympics will die out as they did in the ancient World. For the same reasons.
A dark age with demographic decline descending. An expensive frill. Only an Empire in its hardy days, or a civilization on the rise can afford these types of extravaganzas.
It boosts their prowess, so have a reason to be. When you think your civilization is evil & your nothing but oppressors. As the left with their Islamist allies. Whats to celebrate?
In the Welfare World of tomorrow they will be deemed irrelevant to the People.
Like the Space program. After all Bureaucrats must triumph all.
To these Grey suites. Working or producing People are just Unites of tax revenue. Their likes or opinions including sports mean nothing.
One day they will just disappear or be so corrupted ,no one will want them.

Thanks West a good article.

Interesting Rev, the olympics are on the wane.

Claudia Cattaneo in today’s Financial Post offers these snippets from a report entitled “The Energy Reality” by John Mawdsley:

1) biodiesels use 500 times the amount of water that oil sands projects use to generate the same amount of electricity;

2) about 149 million people per year could be fed with the feedstocks now being used for ethanol production in the US;

3)using a 100,000 barrel a day oil sands plant in Alberta to offset ethanol production could feed 34 million people per year;

4) it would cost $4.4 trillion in solar panels to replace coal-fired electricity in the US.

Clearly eco-fascism is unsustainable. Thanks VanG.

Interesting to note that Hansen won the Heinz Award, named for the late husband of Teresa Heinz wife of Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts.

Sen. Kerry has been working with Sen. Barbara Boxer on Cap and Trade bill since 2009. But with Obama now giving the EPA free reign, or using executive order and his regulatory "czar" to maximum effect, that legislation now seems unnecessary...

If there's money to be made in this scam, trust John Kerry to be one of the people to get in on the action.

Telegraph blogger James Delingpole's victory against those in the warmist king rat nest at UEA trying to suppress him at the PCC is great news. While UEA had the effrontery to attempt to use a transparently concocted, whitewash of themselves as proof of his sins, the PCC had no problem heading straight for the free speech option. That is a refreshing ray of much needed sunlight in this battle.

Heinz eh? Thanks Zilla.

Very Good news Simus.
