As others have pointed out, how is her immigrating here any different -- or better -- from, say, my ancestors' immigrating here? I know how you feel, but try to dissociate the earings and the hairdo from the rant. I've discovered that a similar exterior on a person who is not ranting, but is in fact making sense doesn't bother me one whit.
