There's nothing cheaper than a head of state who shows up in country about once every five years, for a week. This amazing luck of ours also makes our country freer, in my opinion, than one where we would have some personality sucking the limelight as President, whether that office would be political or not.

It's the height of irony that an Iranian (he may be a Canadian now but he was born in Iran) has a problem with Canada's Royal Family -- that's Canada's Royal Family, Mr. Khadir.
If he doesn't like our heritage and our customs and symbols -- and the freedoms that go along with them -- maybe he needs to go back to Iran. I guess he prefers the theocracy and imams to the Shah (are the people better off? -- and, if they are, why isn't Mr. Khadir living in Iran?).
I know how I feel about having this guy here in Canada, especially in a position of "responsibility" and power. This guy is not a class act, he's an entitled ass**** -- not because he's from Iran but because he bites the hand that feeds him. Jerk.
