Coptic Christian Student Murdered By Classmates for Wearing a Cross

(AINA) -- In mid-October Egyptian media published news of an altercation between Muslim and Christian students over a classroom seat at a school in Mallawi, Minya province. The altercation lead to the murder of a Christian student. The media portrayed the incident as non-sectarian. However, Copts Without Borders, a Coptic news website, refuted this version and was first to report that the Christian student was murdered because he was wearing a crucifix.

Meanwhile, over at Wondercafe there is zero interest in Coptic Christians but an extremely lively thread about the horrid 100 Huntley Street, who are going on about gays again.

At WC, the gay agenda trumps everything.  I am libertarian about gays but the emphasis at that site is rather noticeable.   It seems to be more about gays than anything else--except when the gays are being attacked by Muslims...my mistake---Muslims trump eveything at WC, even gays.

According to Sharia, the Dhimmi (which the Coptic Christians in Egypt are) are not permitted to display their religious symbols in any way that would be visible to Muslims.  Punishment for transgression is dictated by Sharia - death.

So, you see, this Coptic youth was really just 'asking to be killed'!

That sums it up.

I'm so glad the CBC, Wondercafe, ISNA-Canada, MSA of York and U. of T. and The Toronto Star are concerned about this student's death and are setting up a fund to help his grieving family. Their concern for the coptic christians brutalized by islam and their research into the koran, hadiths, life of muhammad and history of islamic imperialism for justifying this crime, really impressed me.   Such clarity and courage.

I now know where the Myth of Vampires seeing a cross comes from.

Bazinga.  But I think you're maligning Vampires with that statement.  The Vampires ar least live in the 17th century,
