There is only one group that enables this farce and huge costs on the taxpayers - the church weasels who own the land and refuse to do their civic duty. They should lose the tax exemption on all their properties in the city and bylaw officers should be on their case 24/7. Remember the power bylaw officers had when they unjustly persecuted that family in Clarington over an occasional weekend gathering of a few dozen conservatives?

I remember bulls in uniform.. I recall there attitude and there duty was instilled like a soldiers mentality.. what I see now is lefty minded sugar hearts with no balls just putting in time.. I have a few friends in different forces throughout Canada and there a bit older they too arent happy with the soft hearted limps from cadette school with there eagerness to be promoted by way of apeaseing the islamist and socialist over the  boomers that paved the way.. pfft what a joke.. cammoflaged idiots waying in on another lie .. none wants a police state  for sure  but how about a common sence and back bone police force with the ok too stand up for intelligents.

simus1, 'you asking the sell-out, wimp Anglican Church of Canada (ACC) to grow a pair and demand that law enforcement officers do their civic duty and disperse or arrest the OWS and Native squatters?

Most ACC clerics live very nice lives, thank you very much, while spouting UN/NDP platitudes to their parishioners and the world at large. They're more Tommy Douglas Christians than Jesus Christ followers: Let the state provide cake to the masses.

That was never the Way of the Man who walked on water. But try telling that to the Anglicans.

I really do hope this blows up - and literally - in Toronto.  We need some sort of watershed event to stop all this stupidity from stanley cup riots, to corrupt police officials that has crept into our society, and the airhead left thinking that our schools and our government protrude.

I do NOT hope someone gets injured, but it seems the only time things get done in Canada is when someone dies.

Nor do I want to be a sacrificial lamb, but I really think we need something dramatic like a Mowhawk standoff in Toronto to wake up the rest of Canada.

I watch in amazement how our society sees child brides being hit with acid in Pakistan, but yet get a warm cooing feeling about a peaceful Islam heritage day event in downtown Calgary sharing space with the Occupy nit wits, then speaking of how tolerant and peaceful Islam is as the reason.

We need a watershed and we need it now.  Caledonia was a warmup.
