Happy Halloween Everyone!
I wish I could Trick or Treat again. I last did at 12, when after much deliberation and concern I might be perceived as "too old", I determined that would be the age at which to cast childish things aside. For my Last Hoorah I put extra effort into my costume and while my choice to go as a Robot was unexceptional the end result was pretty good if I do say so myself. I was rewarded accordingly, my best haul ever.
Have a good one folks;)
It's important to drag the joys of childhood out as long as we can. Before you know it you are the escort watching the kids have fun. In todays society it seems no matter what you enjoy, there is a group that want's you to stop it.
This is true, Halloween was always such good fun, pity we ever have to grow up.
The Skeleton Dance is actually pretty freaky.
One might be older but one can still enjoy other things.
If one is allowed, that is.....
(lousy political correctness)
Happy Halloween. I've spent some time looking at the articles here, and you generally call it as it is. It reminds me of another cool site: www.outkube.com
Keep up the good work!
Cool site ??? Seems to be over run with sick puppies and the shallow end of the gene pool.
I would still trick-or-treat if I could possibly get away with it. It was never about the candy.
Have a happy halloween everyone...only four kids came to my door. Ans when I accidently dropped some mini-bars on the porch, one four year old started crying.
The Betty Boop cartoon begins with a promo for the NRA, or National Recovery Administration. This was a government bureau set up by Roosevelt to micromanage the economy, often in a ruthless and rather fascist manner. The NRA likely inspired many of the plot details in Ayn Rand's novels in the manner that it quelled "dog-eat-dog" competition.
The Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional in 1935.
