A: You need to get out more. Section 13 is not dead. It’s resting. Unfinished cases are on hold, and no new ones have been launched since 2008, when the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal ruled the law violates section 2(b) of the Charter of Rights & Freedoms, which guarantees freedom of expression. That decision, in the case of far-right webmaster Marc Lemire, put the law into limbo but did not technically overturn it. An appeal in federal court is slated for December.

McGuinty Government Grants School License To Muslim Academy Whose Founder Was Accused Of Polygamy & Sexual Abuse Of Student!

My original post concerned this story from Chatham Ontario: Local Muslim questions motive behind Islamic school, I started to dig around into the background of the Darul Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo NY which was founded, and continues to be run, by the same family behind the Chatham Ontario school.

Lo and Behold! Look what turned up, The McGuinty Government has granted a school license to a pervert accused of polygamy and sexual abuse of a student:

The principal of an Islamic boarding school on Buffalo’s East Side has been forced to resign after allegations that he was sexually involved with one of his students and that he claimed to have taken her as a second wife....Evidence suggests Mohammed Ibrahim Memon, a father of seven, persuaded Sajidah Khan, then 21, to marry under Islamic law as a pretense to sleep with her....

Mohammed Ibrahim Memon, who now goes by the name of Sheikh Ibrahim Memon Madani remains a large influence at the Buffalo school where his lectures are prominently featured. Sheikh Ibrahim Memon Madani, along with his his father, is listed as a founder of the Darul Uloom School in Buffalo New York.

That these maniacs were granted a license doesn't come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the vote whoring antics of the McGuinty government, which has gone out of its way to court Islamic extremists. Will anyone lose their job over this? Somehow I doubt it.

More than "religion" is taught at the Darul-Uloom school, this document, Consequences of Debasing The Auliya-Allah, written by the schools founder Dr. Ismail Memon reveals a strong belief in Islamic separatism, yet another gift of multiculturalism:

"Therefore, it is important to assess, before establishing a relationship, the religious background of a person and to be assured that he is in line with the Shariah. If one is unable to ascertain whether a person is good or bad or if he acts upon the Shariah or not he should not stay in his company at all."...

Dr. Mohammad Ismail Memon Madani one of the founders of the school has also written this book - Hijab "I found the book useful in some ways but very confusing in others, and didn't appreciate the stereotyping of Western women. I'm a woman of the West, proud of it, and am not mired in a culture of endless, brainless lust."

WTF? "One sin which has become common practice today is that of allowing the pants to hang below the ankles (isbaal). In light of the ahadith, we learn that this is a grave sin. "

The University of Lethbridge has deemed fit to congratulate well known 911 Troofer Josh Blakeney on his appointment as a staff writer for a rabid little holocaust denial and all purpose conspiracy rag called Veterans Today. VT purports to be a "Military & Foreign Affairs" journal. I had no idea the SS remained a viable magazine demographic.

Dr Zakariyya explained to her that there was no way the faculty could confirm that it was really her attending the exam if she wore the face veil, to which the girl replied that if the faculty was suspicious, female staff working in the faculty could remove her face veil and check.
