Conservative Government Gives Your Tax Dollars To Hamas Fundraisers
Point De Bascule has done some excellent work tracking down Mosques who have received funding under the the federal government's SIP - Security Infrastructure Program. I've written about the SIP Program previously in my "Your Tax Dollars At Prayer" series, where for instance we learned that the feds were partners with Muammar Gaddafi's World Islamic Call Society. The World Islamic Call Society has since had its Canadian charitable status revoked, for among other things, funding the JFK Terrorists.
Point De Bascule has uncovered that all of the mosques listed below received your tax dollars and also in turn donated to IRFAN Canada. IRFAN Canada had its charitable status revoked in 2011 because they funded Hamas to the tune of 14.6 million dollars. The mosques in question have donated a total of $367,703.00 to Hamas fund raiser IRFAN Canada.
The audit revealed that Irfan-Canada has provided over $ 14.6 million in resources from partner agencies conducted by representatives of Hamas, who openly supported and financed the Hamas, or appearing on a list of some jurisdictions because of their support of Hamas and other terrorist organizations.

I don't see why mosques need to receive ANY government funding. At risk? Humbug. This is outrageous.
Unbelievable!! I don't want to think that the Conservative govt. is as inefficient as the Libs were.... so, I would prefer to give them the benefit of a doubt and presume that a portion of the funds going to these mosques and then thereon to terrorists orgs. must have been entered into by the Lib govt. and the Cons now find themselves unable to wiggle out of the arrangement.
If any new funding agreements are signed after Cons have won majority, then they will have a hard time living this down.
It's started out as a vote buying scam, that's all it ever was. And as is often the case with scams someone scammed the scammers.
There is absolutely little to no screening of these fake muslim charities and the vote whores are all too willing to give them your money.
Since it's questionable as to whether or not Islam is even a religion, I don't see why ever allowed even a single mosque to be built in Canada, let alone gave them tax dollars. It can easily be argued that Islam is not a religion and therefore would not be protected by any Charter "Freedom of Religion" rights.

Those budgetary "small potatoes" add up very rapidly. Total them up and they matter. If you keep track of, and deal with, the accumulation of "small potatoes," then a lot of the bigger problems will take care of themselves.
What's more, ANY mosque is a source of enemy propaganda. Using government money to aid and abet that is a form of treason, IMO.
I was shocked when I read the statement as well, what it means is that they have surrendered the purse strings to the whims of bureaucrats.
