Pakistani medic who assisted U.S. bin Laden capture charged with treason

No more aid money of any kind. OK?

David Smith –   – (11:11 AM)

After disclosing Afridi’s role in the operation, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta
How much more pathetic can husseins effing "govt" get?

MuniMuIa –   – (11:13 AM)

Shhhhh, we're supose to pretent that they're are friends, because they have the bomb, and we have no guts.

Daniel9vs2 –   – (11:22 AM)

10 more months to go with his ongoing  dismantleing of the army and judicial system  Im guessing real pathetic

Daniel9vs2 –   – (11:24 AM)

and lets pretend they dont  have a instruction book  on how to deal with kafirs as friends ... thats treasonous

Daniel9vs2 –   – (11:36 AM)

you can bet a true leader like Churchill would never  be a partner to another foriegn country without knowing its culture and its Ideology in depth.. and then being prudent in his approach.. how the mind has fallen

Blazingcatfur –   – (11:38 AM)

What a jackass move by Panetta

Blazingcatfur –   – (11:39 AM)

He's workin on it.

Blazingcatfur –   – (11:39 AM)

Ugh.

melykin –   – (12:05 PM)

Kids in Pakistan are getting polio?  Seriously?  Every Islamic country is a corrupt dysfunctional hell hole, worse than we can even imagine.

The US gov. should have had enough sense to get this guy and his family out right after the operation.    They surely must have known by then that Pakistan isn't really on our side.

Blazingcatfur –   – (12:35 PM)

What a royal mess.

NorthernThoughts  – (1:00 PM)

I think the veil has slipped right off. We know what side they stand on, and it isn't ours. The problem is, however, that Pakistan is a nuclear power, and if we can't even pretend to have an alliance with them, or at least a mutual understanding, that region could possibly become the site of this planet's first nuclear war.

In that respect, aid money becomes like ransom doesn't it? I don't like that idea at all. I agree, cut funding and start taking a firm stance. I doubt Pakistan will want the Western world standing over them like a sword of Damocles, but that means a strong United States which will take military action (which won't happen under Barack Obama) and that Russia and China won't get involved. If not, we're back at the first scenario with India and Pakistan looking to settle old scores with nuclear weapons.

Bob Almighty –   – (1:44 PM)

I'm afraid of the nukes going missing.

simus1 –   – (2:16 PM)

A country with a better touch at playing the great game would have previously arranged for an "unfortunate accident" to befall any chief instigator in Pakistan who thought delving into the "who and how" of the bin Laden operation was a good idea. Just to indicate "Hey, China may be your pimp, but you still gotta watch out for random falling objects if you insist on your crazies poking around where they don't belong".

Blazingcatfur –   – (2:58 PM)

Me too.

Blazingcatfur –   – (3:00 PM)

I'll place my money on India in that scenario.

Anne_from_Victoria –   – (3:08 PM)

The Pakistani military is just furious. The US did not seem to realize just how angry they would get. Pathetic for this man, and an indicator of where the Pak military's loyalty has been all along.

Dodoforever Canspell –   – (4:22 PM)

Poor guy.  I hope the USA will do the decent thing and  get the man and his family out of that hellhole pronto.

NorthernThoughts  – (4:44 PM)

Good point, almost forgot. This is far worse than a scenario where Russian nukes go missing. If Pakistani nukes disappear, we know who has them and we know they'll use them.

Who was it that allowed Muslims to have nukes? Just wondering...

dukestreet –   – (4:45 PM)

This shows even more incompetence by BO and his cohorts. Why didn't they get this guy out a long time ago and why did Panetta bring it up.

If it was possible to get Bin Laden is would have been easy to take care of anyone involved. considering that we all know the 'partners and allies" bit is a scam this should have been handled immediately.  the only thing in the way would have been if the DR. and his family refused the assistance, which I can't imagine.

The POTUS has no excuse for this, whatever happens is on his head and everyone should make it a big deal in the election. The world needs somebody with brains and guts in there.

Can anybody convince Allen West?

NorthernThoughts  – (4:46 PM)

I'd agree, but it wouldn't be a clean victory. Referring to the point on missing nukes, I'd bet that if this scenario came about, the problem would be Pakistan letting terrorist groups have nukes to do their dirty work.

Military to military, and as well as alliances, India has Pakistan beat, but this wouldn't be a conventional war.

Blazingcatfur –   – (6:09 PM)

He is damned I suspect.

Anne_from_Victoria –   – (8:37 PM)

Polio is generally eradicated except in the Muslim world. The annual Hajj pilgrimage is a great way to spread contagious diseases (of course, there is a vaccine for polio so this is hardly an excuse).

Anne_from_Victoria –   – (8:41 PM)

I believe a Pakistani scientist (Khan?) was responsible but he got a lot of stuff from Europe. Technology-wise I mean. I don't know the whole story really well.

Osumashi Kinyobe  – (8:43 PM)

Surely the One will secure his rescue? As thanks for assisting him?

Blazingcatfur –   – (8:53 PM)

Hahahahahaha!

Canadian all the way –   – (9:50 PM)

Why oh why did Allan West not run?????
The current crop will have a tough time beating Hussein!

Blazingcatfur –   – (10:53 PM)

He will next time.

Revnant Dream –   – (2:06 AM)

We can only hope that China or Russia stole the nukes.

Clausewitz –   – (2:39 AM)

How's that getting back the unmanned spyplane going?  Didn't Iran give it back after Obama groveled and asked pretty please?

Blazingcatfur –   – (12:38 PM)

Oh he's gettin it back - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lY5Amqcysc&feature=uploademail

Blazingcatfur –   – (12:40 PM)

All it takes is a very small amount for a practical dirty bomb.

Asha –   – (2:48 PM)

Me too!
