The Afghan embassy states that "Honour killing is unacceptable in Afghanistan Constitution and its Justice System." Wrong.
Under Chapter One of their Constitution, Article 3: In Afghanistan no law can be contrary to the beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of islam.
So therefore no law applied in Afghanistan's Justice System can be contrary to shari'a law. And therefore, as "unacceptable" as honour killing may be, since shari'a condones such killing (ie no punishment for the killer) there can be no law in Afghanistan that punishes honour killings.
The embassy knows this of course. Theyare just spewing taqqiya . In fact the entire Afghan Constitution reads like one big taqqiya fest.
