Canadian confusion over honor killings

If this same crime had been committed by Euro-Canadians, one would be suggesting "not guilty by reason of insanity.". I mean, think about it.

I'd like the pro multicultural lobby to explain why Canadian values and laws were not able to disconnect and nullify the Shafia family honour code?

Even after these convictions, the pro multicultural lobby wants things to remain the same. None of them  have come out and said something like:

"Yeah, that honour code is a tough nut to crack."

It seems to me the lack of honesty on the part of the multicultural lobby implies they are in denial and they don't want any changes. I don't even think they believe there is a problem with a belief system and structure that allows for killing one's female family members.  But rather, they frame the problem as one of ethnic and religious bigotry.

 They suggest that their human rights are being violated. Perhaps, it hasn't occurred to them that honour codes and human rights are not compatible. Human rights cannot exist in an honour code.

They don't want changes Ann. What they want is more multiculturalism - more outreach initiatives more BS in short.

I agree that human rights were violated; the rights of the victims to life.  It is unbelievable just how thick and stupid these people are.  I am referring to the defenders of the murderers.
